Episode 72 | #Marokko
Wir fahren Offroad zum Plage Blanche und fahren auf diesem (eigentlich gar nicht so weiß wie erwarteten) Strand ca. 30km. Wir sehen einen toten Wal, eine Schar Flamingo und bunte Steine und treffen nette Leute. Dann fahren wir weiter Richtung Foum Assaka. Auf dem Weg gibt es immer wieder atemberaubende Aussichten und beeindruckende Landschaften. In Foum Assaka ist nicht viel los, weiter geht es in der nächsten Episode am Samstag.

Tan-Tan (Berber: ⵟⴰⵏⵟⴰⵏ) (Arabic: طانطان) is a city in Tan-Tan Province in the region of Guelmim-Oued Noun in south-western Morocco. It is a desert town with a population (2004 census) of 60,560. It is the largest city in the province and second largest city in the region after the capital Guelmim. It is located on the banks of the wadi Oued Ben Jelil, which flows into the Draa River 15 km north of the town. The Draa River, at 1,100 km is the longest in Morocco and flows into the Atlantic Ocean soon after the confluence with the wadi. The town also has an airport, Tan Tan Plage Blanche Airport.

Située à 350 km d'Agadir, Tan-Tan a été fondée en 1940 du temps du protectorat espagnol pour jouer le rôle de poste militaire.
Ce n'est qu'en 1958, à la fin de l'occupation espagnole, que la ville a commencé à voir le jour et à se développer.
L'origine du nom est inconnue, mais pour certains, le nom viendrait de l'écho qu'a provoqué la chute d'un récipient métallique dans un puit.
El Ouatia (ou Tan-Tan plage) se trouve à 20 Km de la ville de Tan-Tan. Cette extension maritime de la ville de Tan-Tan est le plus grand port de sardines du Maroc.
