Trip to Cape Verde in April 2014. This video was taken in Tarrafal on the island of Santiago.
Note: Most of the sound you hear on this video is the blowing of the wind because it was a very windy afternoon when this video was shot.

Após uma agradável viagem de 70 km desde a Cidade da Praia, pelo interior da ilha de Santiago, cruzamos a Serra da Malagueta e chegamos ao Tarrafal, pequena e típica cidade piscatória com 20000 habitantes.
Tarrafal situa-se numa baía rodeada de coqueiros, e tem uma das praias mais paradisíacas de todo o Arquipélago de Cabo Verde.
A pouca distancia do Tarrafal na Aldeia de Ribeira da Prata, está uma joia da natureza local, a praia de nidificação de tartarugas marinhas.
Tarrafal, longe do turismo de massas e com um autêntico turismo sustentável é um pequeno paraíso onde se vive uma experiencia genuína entre o seu maravilhoso e acolhedor povo, a Morabeza está bem presente na vida diária.
After a pleasant journey of 70 km from Praia, and the interior of the island of Santiago, crossing the Serra da Malagueta, we got to Tarrafal, a small, typical fishing town with 20,000 inhabitants, and a bay surrounded by palm trees, where is one of the most beautiful beaches around the Cape Verde Archipelago.
Within walking distance from Tarrafal in Ribeira da Prata Village, is a jewel of the local nature of the beach nesting sea turtles.
Tarrafal, away from the mass and with a genuine sustainable tourism Tourism is a small paradise where you live a genuine experience of its wonderful and welcoming people, Morabeza is still present in daily life.
