The most beneficial experiment in exterior living spaces began in the USA in the 50s. Rather than exclusively keeping the living areas of a house indoors, a great deal of households in the United States Of America began building comfort domains outdoors. Whether it was a living area or just a play place for the kids, it didn't make a difference as landscaping designers began building houses when it comes to experiencing and enjoying the outdoors. The spaces outside previously left only for breathtaking value were at present being implemented to enlarge the living area and improving the worth of your house. Among the best environments landscaping designers are recognized for building exterior living spaces may just be the southwest part of the United States of America. With there being a reduced degree of insects found outdoors in this region, it makes for an extraordinary exterior dining experience. For many parts of the modern world, it is really extremely hard to eat dinner outside every day of the year because pesky insects. Latin American countries capitalize on great year round weather and routinely blur the line in between outdoor and indoor living spaces. For example, oftentimes rooms that open right into an outdoor patio or to an outdoor garden area. If you have the liberty of residing in an area on the planet with brilliant climate, it might be a shame not to capitalize on it as in many instances as appropriate.
A large amount of landscaping designers builds a wide range of outdoor areas to be near to the house. The only kind of outdoor space you won't wish to have alongside the house will be a personal spot or place for individual reflection. Many of these places are fantastic for getting away from a job, disturbances, and maybe kicking back for a bit of a leisure period. And just in case you are a person that loves to read, many of these sanctuaries are often capable of growing to be your new favored place. Often the further away you get away from your own home, the greater the degree of privacy you will have to be grateful for alone.
A massively favorite area frequently built by the landscaping builder, is going to be external dining place. A number of people appreciate a first rate barbeque with the general public, and that's why lots of folks absolutely love buying a fascinating outdoor patio that includes a barbeque grill and possibly a dining area. And if a detailed dining area outdoor patio happens to be out of your reach, it is possible to financially afford a site for cooking food and / or eating in the backyard. Some houses already have exterior kitchen areas along with weather proof cupboards and equipment for the kitchen are already held outdoors for several days when the sun is out and there is not a cloud on the horizon.
What will happen if you would like young children to enjoy that space? Easy. They now have several choices as well in their extended living spaces. Think about a fabulous playground space, sand box area or an above ground trampoline. All super fun ideas that the kids will love. If you have small kids, please be sure to have security in place for the areas that they go.
Doing it Doggy Style
Shagdog & Jammer caught the Flying Dog trying to do it Doggy Style!
Brewed by: Flying Dog Brewery Maryland, United States
The alpha of the pack, Doggie Style complements a wide range of foods. Flavor notes: Grassy, citrus, and slight perfume hop aromas with subtlety sweet malt body Pairs with: Cheddar cheese, burgers, barbeque, Thai, Mexican Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isn't overpoweringly hoppy. It's brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

Nobody had ever connected the words flying and dog together...until 1983, when George Stranahan* was itching for an adventure.
This time it would be K2, also known as the Savage Mountain, the second highest mountain in the world and one of the most deadly. For every four people who have reached the summit, one has died trying. And it has never been climbed in the winter.
After traveling 8,000 miles from Woody Creek, Colorado, George and his band of 12 Innocents set off from Rawalpindi, Pakistan (or Pindi as everyone called it) for the summit of K2 with a Sherpa and a mule loaded with provisions.
Ignoring the fear, George and the Innocents trekked across the Baltoro Glacier and the Braldu Gorge. Reinhold Messner, the world's greatest mountain climber, said the Braldu Gorge was the most dangerous thing [he] had ever done in his life. According to George, the largest disaster he and the Innocents faced was that on day 17 of a 35-day trip, we totally ran out of booze.
Back in Pindi at the Hotel Flashman, George and the Innocents were triumphant but in a dry state of mind. After getting on the alcohol list of this Muslim nation, they settled in to drink their quota. Then, their eyes caught sight of a large painting.
As George describes it, It was a full-on oil painting of a dog. A beautiful oil painting, big, nice. And the dog was like...well, he had left the ground. Here we were, theMarch of the Innocents and this 'Flying Dog,' and the weirdness of it all. And the combination of the words 'Flying Dog' stuck with all of us, but particularly for me. They fit together in some way. I don't know how it makes sense, but it makes sense.
In 1990, George founded the Flying Dog Brewpub in Aspen, Colorado. From that brewpub to a full-fledged Denver brewery (co-founded by George and his longtime friend and partner, Richard McIntyre**) in 1994, and then to our current state-of-the-art brewing facility in Frederick, Maryland, Flying Dog continues to make sense.
* George Stranahan is an astrophysicist with a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University and the founder of the Aspen Center for Physics. He is also a photographer, rancher, writer, philanthropist, and an educator who has founded three schools. For more information, visit georgestranahan.com.
** Richard McIntyre is a rancher at the Flying Dog Ranch, which also serves as a conference and retreat center, situated at the base of Mt. Sopris in Carbondale, Colorado.
DearMKE presents: THE RIGHT INGREDIENTS featuring The Miller Brewery
Beer is what made Milwaukee famous. The clean water from Lake Michigan attracted beer barons like Fred Miller, Joseph Schlitz and Frederick Pabst to the city. MillerCoors in Milwaukee has a long and tasty history dating back to Frederick Miller leasing his first brewery (the Miller Brewing Company) in 1855. A lot has changed since then, of course, but not the dedication to delicious brew.
Take a tour with Dr. David Ryder, VP of Brewing and Dave Henewig to learn a little bit about the delicious history of MillerCoors through the haunted Miller Inn and the current brewery down sixty feet underground to the Miller Caves where beer was kept cold before refrigeration.
Film producer Jack Turner and other local filmmakers are capturing the best of Milwaukee on film. They need your help. Show us the Milwaukee you love through a video, photo or written work.
Even if you've lived in Milwaukee your whole life, there are places you haven't seen, people you haven't met, and stories you haven't heard. See what Milwaukeeans find endearing about our city. Get ready to be inspired and to experience this town like never before.

Colorado Experience: Indulgences of the West
Indulge in the strychnine-laced whiskey and opium-based laudanum of early Colorado. A lack of regulation and easy access to potent tinctures made for fun times in the Wild West, but oftentimes led to addiction and health concerns for a large part of Colorado’s early population. Step into Denver’s opium dens, breweries and recent headline-making legislation that continue to designate Colorado as the “Wild West.”

UFC Championship Belt
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is an American mixed martial arts promotion company, a subsidiary of the parent company William Morris Endeavor, based in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is the largest MMA promoter in the world and features most of the top-ranked fighters in the sport.[3] Based in the United States, the UFC produces events worldwide[4] that showcase ten weight divisions and abide by the Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts.[5] The UFC has held over 300 events to date. Dana White serves as the president of the UFC.
The first event was held on November 12, 1993 at the McNichols Sports Arena in Denver, Colorado.[6] The purpose of the early Ultimate Fighting Championship competitions was to identify the most effective martial art in a fight, with minimal rules, between competitors of different fighting disciplines, including boxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Sambo, wrestling, Muay Thai, karate, judo, and other styles. In subsequent competitions, fighters began adopting effective techniques from more than one discipline, which indirectly helped create an entirely separate style of fighting known as present-day mixed martial arts.[7] In 2016, it was sold to William Morris Endeavor (WME-IMG) for $4 billion.[8]
With a TV deal and expansion in Europe, Australia,[9] the Middle East,[10] Asia,[11] and new markets within the United States, the UFC as of 2017 has gained in popularity, along with greater mainstream media coverage. As of 2017, viewers can access live UFC fights and fight replays on their subscription network UFC Fight Pass at a cost of $7.99–$9.99 USD per month via devices like Apple TV, iPhone, Android, Xbox, Roku, and Google Chromecast[12] as well as on pay-per-view in the U.S., Brazil, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and Italy. On network TV, UFC content is available on Fox, Fox Sports 1, and Fox Sports 2[13] in the U.S., on ESPN in the Caribbean, on BT Sport in the United Kingdom and Ireland, as well as in 150 countries and 22 different languages worldwide.
MMA journalists and fans have criticized the UFC for putting on too many shows and thus diluting the quality of their

Swearing-In Ceremony: Candice Quarles DeSoto City Council
Candice Quarles was sworn in to her first full term on the DeSoto City Council May 15th, 2018.
Candice Quarles represents DeSoto City Council Place 6.
Swearing In was conducted by Commissioner John Wiley Price.
I, Candice Quarles. Do solemnly swear or affirm that I will faithfully execute the duties of Councilmember Place 6
In the city of the DeSoto, of the state of Texas.
And will to the best of my ability,
preserve, protect and defend the constitution and laws of the United States this day, on this day.
So help me God.
Good evening. I am City Councilwoman place 6, Candice Quarles and I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve for my first full term on the city council. First, I want to thank the voters for entrusting in me the opportunity to serve this community in the role of a council member. I want to thank my loving husband Jeremiah, and my baby girl Avery. We spend a lot of time in this chamber, in this building and away from family and I understand the sacrifices that families make, that don't sign up for politics in general. They still get still get a taste of that. So thank you guys for always being so supportive and also want to thank my mom and my dad and my two sisters. Also I want to thank my sorority sisters.
And I also want to thank my colleagues on the city council.
You have made this experience of the past few years a wonderful learning experience and just know that I cherish each of you and I really respect each and every single person on this council.
We spend a lot of time together guys and just know that the professionalism that you see during the council meeting is always in every meeting. In every event that we're doing, we are looking out for each other and the way that they all care about the city.
Just know that you guys (the citizens) have really chosen really good people to serve on the council.
So I'm honored to serve with each of you and I sincerely mean that.
Also want to thank my illustrious mayor to have the first female mayor want to make sure that you know that we are being supportive and understand that it's a big weight when women are in leadership, so a lot of sacrifices that are made. There's an extra magnifying glass and understand that she is just really carrying that torch well, a kept it going seamlessly and I'm so glad to serve under her leadership on the city council.
I am also thankful for every opportunity that I've been given on council as the liaison for the Historical Foundation as specifically working with people like Ms Charlotte Berry on the domestic violence advisory commission.
I am also thankful for opportunities like the DeSoto Works Job Fair. When you talk about collaboration in the city, When Commissioner talks about how things work in cities-- That's because that's the partnership with Chambers, churches and economic development. That's the way it works. I'm so glad to be in a city where we can have collaboration and I also want to commit to you that you should hold us accountable. This government is supposed to work for you. It’s supposed to do things for you. And if we’re not doing it, you need to call us on it. I encourage you to check us on it. We have people that come to the council meetings and you know they have issues and things that we want to address. And I truly mean that. Please contact me.
Tell me the things that you’re looking for in your community. Understand that the things that have always been done, the way it's been done, the way that it has to be.
So when you have someone that's on the council and I truly believe that we were all elected because we wanted to make a difference and improve our city in some way.
So bring your changes, bring your ideas, know that I'm open to listening to them and know that I really, really want to make our city the best place to live, work and play.
As you guys know, I'm super passionate about getting more people involved in local government. I want to increase voter turnout. We have a midterm election coming up this year and Presidential elections going on. And me being in the seat that I am on the city council, I believe that it affects at all levels.
And understand going forward, you'll see more of that from me. You'll see me encouraging more people to come to these meetings. You'll see me encouraging more young folks to get involved and do more than a 2% turnout.
So you'll see more of me encouraging you and you'll see now that I have two years on the council and I kind of seen it; You never know everything I'm just much more comfortable with, okay, this is my city too, right?
. So I'm asking you, thank you for your continued support. Call me out if you say, Hey Candice you said you're going to make changes. Make sure I'm doing those things. Come to this meeting. Let me know what you like to see and trust and understand that I'm doing the very best that I can and I can only do that with your help.
Thank you guys.
