Taste History Culinary Tours
Travel and Tourism Class at John I. Leonard High School
hosted on Bakery Trail Taste History Culinary Tour
Boynton Beach, Florida - - - The Travel and Tourism Class at John Leonard High School in Greenacres, Florida was hosted on Taste History Culinary Tour to the emerging art scene and established family-owned bakeries in Boynton Beach, and Delray Beach and for a tour of the Hilton Convention Center Hotel in West Palm Beach. The bus and walking trip in Boynton Beach included viewing Boynton Beach’s areas that are buoyed by art. The City of Boynton Beach bolsters two officially designated arts districts – the Avenue of the Arts in Downtown Boynton Beach and Boynton Beach Art District in the Industrial Park.
The students selected Taste History for their class project where they will earn college credit from University of Cambridge's Cambridge International Examinations program based in London, England (UK). The Travel and Tourism Class specifically requested the Bakery Trail Tour. As part of their assignment to earn college credit, the students helped to plan a portion of the tour that included them requesting the tourism brochures and scheduling the walking tour of the Boynton Beach Public Arts District in Downtown Boynton Beach.
The Taste History Culinary Tour is a multi-district trip featuring emerging art and cultural food. The non-profit Taste History was established in 2011 and is the first culinary tour in Palm Beach County. Taste History alternately features the unique flavors in more than 5 cities with cultural food tastings, local art viewing and history learning. Taste History rotates trips to West Palm Beach, Lake Worth and Lantana; and Delray Beach and Boynton Beach on the first, second, third and fourth Saturdays, year-round plus private tours during the weekday.
The Taste History Culinary Tours of Historic Palm Beach County, Florida features cultural food tastings at family-owned eateries, juice bars, teahouses and pastry shops along with showcasing local art shops, historic buildings and emerging cultural districts. Discover the Best Hotels & Delicious Restaurants of West Palm Beach, Florida
Florida, did you miss us? My latest trip to the Sunshine State was a delicious and delightful visit to West Palm Beach for some fantastic food, yacht tours, and resort life. The trip kicked off with some hard work as I blended my margarita with the help of an exercise bike before I hopped on a private yacht to learn about the city and its history. West Palm Beach’s central location makes for easy access to other top locales in the state. After getting treated to a glass of bubbly, I toured the historic Breakers Resort and their Imperial Suite, which is just as grand as it sounds. Then it was back on the bike to WPB’s Regional Kitchen, to get a taste of what many consider Florida’s top fried chicken. Watch to find out if it lived up to its name.

And no wonder Delray Beach was voted the most fun small town in America -- we’ll visit a spot for vintage arcade games and indulge in the ultimate comfort food….
