Tate Britain is one of my favorite London museums and you definitely should visit it on your London trip! The main display spaces show the permanent collection of historic British art, as well as contemporary work. It has rooms dedicated to works by one artist, such as: Tracey Emin, John Latham, Douglas Gordon, Sam Taylor-Wood, Marcus Gheeraerts II, though these, like the rest of the collection, are subject to rotation. Explore this gem with me!
Tate Britain is located by the Thames at Millbank and you can get there with the Victoria tube line (exit PImlico Station). Learn about its exihibitions and events on the website tate.org.uk

What to see at TATE Britain - London [VLOG]
Let's discover the Tate Britain together! The London art gallery dedicated to English artists from 1500 to present days.
How do you get to Tate Britain in London? Getting to the Tate on foot, by bus or tube is not difficult at all. It is located in a central area of the city, not far from Victoria or Westminster next to the Thames. And this is one of the reasons why it’s a place where I come back often.
What to see at Tate Britain? The permanent collection is full of masterpieces of English art. From Pre-Raphaelites to Turner from Barbara Hepworth's sculpture to David Hockney.
The admission is free, just like in many other museums in the city of London and in this video I recommend you four artworks that you cannot absolutely miss.

Tate Modern is now UK’s top tourist attraction
The Tate Modern has overtaken the British Museum for the first time in a decade. The art gallery was visited by almost 5.9 million people last year.
Visitor numbers to the Tate Modern increased by 3.4 percent, while visits to the British Museum fell by 1.3 percent to just over 5.8 million.
The UK’s top 10 most-visited attractions are all in London and include National Gallery, Natural History Museum, Southbank Centre, V&A Kensington, Science Museum, Somerset House, Tower of London, and Royal Museums Greenwich.

A visit to London isn't complete without a trip to Tate Modern.
The collection at Tate Modern includes all the major modern art movements from Fauvism onwards. It features Picasso and Matisse, Dali, Ernst and Mirò. There are works by Pollock, Naum Gabo and Giacometti and the Seagram Murals of Rothko are displayed in the famous Tate Rothko Room. Pop art has its place, including works of Lichtenstein and Warhol, as does Minimal art and Conceptual art.
Britain's national museum of modern and contemporary art from around the world is housed in the former Bankside Power Station on the banks of the Thames. The awe-inspiring Turbine Hall runs the length of the entire building and you can see amazing work for free by artists such as Cézanne, Bonnard, Matisse, Picasso, Rothko, Dalí, Pollock, Warhol and Bourgeois. Tate Modern London is the national gallery of international modern art for Britain. Based in a spectacular disused power station in the heart of London, Tate Modern was created in 2000 and has since become world renowned as a centre for modern art from around the world.
For contemporary art lovers the Tate Modern is must on your visit to London. Also, this modern art gallery can found on London’s Southbank, a stones throw from the Thames and the infamous millennium footbridge, an intriguing piece of modern engineering.
