Starting point for a wonderful hike in the Seebachtal is the parking lot at the Ankogel mountain railways. First, you will hike the natural jewel of the Stappitzer See, which serves as a stop-off point for various migratory bird species.
Bi-Transalp 2018 - Tag 10 - Von Mallnitz nach Hallein
Meine doppelte Alpenüberquerung 2018 startet nach der Anreise von Dornstetten mit der Bahn nach München am Hauptbahnhof München und führt von dort aus großteils dem Fernradweg München-Venecia nach Mestre. Anschließend radel ich entlang der Adriaküste in Richtung Triest bis nach Udine. Dort fahre ich auf dem Fernradweg Alpe Adria zurüch bis nach Salzburg und nach einer Grenzüberquerung geht es dann vom Bahnhof Freilassing mit dem Zug zurück in den Schwarzwald.
Der 10-te Tag meiner Radreise war der härteste Tag auf meiner gesamten Radreise, nicht physisch sondern mental!
Am frühen Morgen startete ich auf die schnelle nach einem kurzen Frühstück in Mallnitz in Richtung Bahnhof, denn dort erwartete mich schon ein Zug der Tauernschleuse, welche Mann und Fahrrad durch die Hohen Tauern nach Böckstein durchschleuste.
Nach der ca. 10 minütigen Zugfahrt erwartete mich auf der anderen Seite der Hohen Tauern graues Regenwetter und bei ca. 10°C und Dauerregen ging es über Bad Gastein, Hofgastein und Dorfgastein durch das Gasteiner Tal in das Salzachtal. Dort folgte ich dem Tauernradweg flussabwärts in Richtung Salzburg. Auch nach meiner Mittagspause in St. Johann im Venedigerwirt regenete es weiter und eine unangenehmr Wegabschnitt führte mich auf der Autostraße durch die Salzachklamm. Daher war ich am späten Nachmittag sehr froh, als ich die letzten Kilometer runterkurbelte und endlich, total durchnässt, meine Unterkunft in Hallein beziehen konnte!
