Hey guys welcome back to livetravelasia.
So today we are traveling back to Bangkok from Koh Chang which I originally thought would be an uneventful event but contrary to expectations, Amazing Thailand is always full of surprises.
So I don’t know what it is with Koh Chang, but I only have memories of laying down feeling oozy, just trying to maintain my bearings on this ferry ride back to the main land. Last time it was food poisoning, this time it was a crazy truck taxi ride to the ferry, where we had to hold on for dear life for the roughly 40 minute drive from lonely beach to centerpoint pier. I highly recommend you wear grippy shoes, as my flip flops weren’t grippy enough for the steel bedding and seat belts are non existent. Anyways, lets not dwell too much on the fact that I almost died falling off the back of that truck cause we are now facing other problems.

KOH CHANG Vlog #6
Beautiful white beaches, crazy jungle roads and amazing thai food, Koh Chang has it all! We really enjoyed our 4 days on this island. Especially after two weeks of traveling cambodia it felt great to be back in thailand because the beaches were cleaner and the food tastes so much better!
If I am going to visit Koh Chang again I would definitely spend more time at White Sand Beach and maybe stay up to 7 days on the island, because it is quite large! We didn't get to see any of the east side of Koh Chang, only west and south.
The south is very beautiful by the way, the road that leads to Bang Bao Beach is a steep winding jungle road, perfect for exploring with a scooter!
Once you made it to the south i recommend taking a break and enjoy the amazing view at Rasta View Café and try their fruit shakes, then head to Bang Bao Beach Resort to chill out and soak up the sun.
More Information about Koh Chang:
Also if you visit Koh Chang you should also see Koh Mak, it will be featured in my next video!

Bang Bao Beach 2017
Also genau richtig zum relaxen-wers braucht!

Taking a short motorbike ride in Koh Chang, Thailand
Just a short afternoon drive from White Sand Beach to a local Tesco Lotus supermarket to get some refreshments for the evening :) .
Rental of this 155cc motorbike was around 250B per 24 hours, and it is the easiest way to move on the island as there are very few taxis on the island. The roads are very dangerous during rainy season as I my visit there was around very late june and early july of this year (2019).
Camera used for filming is the DJI Osmo Action and the stabilization works great as the bike shakes badly most of the time due to badly maintained roads.

Koh Chang, Thailand 2016
March 2016 in Koh Chang, Thailand was my first time back to Thailand in many years. Jobs, children and life kept me away.
But now I am able to travel and explore Thailand and S.E. Asia again, and it feels great to be back. What better place to start but on Koh Chang.
Thailand's third largest island is only 348 km, or 216 miles from Bangkok and takes about 8 hour by bus and including ferry to the island. We took took the last bus from Bangkok at about 11:30 pm, and were on the island looking for a place to stay by 8:00 am,(much of the time I travel, I don't make reservations, that is part of the fun).
The bus ride for most was great, sleeping people everywhere except for me, I could not sleep. See, we were the last on the bus and I was lucky enough to get the very last row in the middle, very hard access seat to the engine compartment with only about 2 inches of foam rubber as padding! I guess it could of been worse.
Koh Chang is a bit different from say, Samui or Phuket in which Koh Chang is not as touristy. Many of the villages on the island still have a thriving fishing industry and doesn't rely solely on tourism. Only the freshest of sea food seems to be norm at the many of the restaurants.
There is much to do on the island and seems to be more family friendly that many other islands in Thailand. Snorkeling, kayaking jungle trekking and even a zipline are just a few exciting places to go.
Other things like Elephant Parks are a great way to spend your day (but please do your due diligence and make sure the one you go to is Animal Friendly).

KOH KOOD Thailand Vlog #8
The perfect couple getaway, Koh Kood! This peaceful island covered with palm trees and surrounded by beautiful white sand beaches with beautiful clear water is the perfect location if you are looking for a relaxed vacation away from everything.
We spend 5 days on the island in the beautiful Paradise Beach Resort, and apart from the ugly orange pool I can recommend staying there, just upgrade to a bungalow, the main building is just not as nice.
Once you are on Koh Kood (Ko Kut) you can rent a scooter for 300 baht and start exploring the island, our highlight was Khlong Hin Beach in the south of the island with a perfect layout of bungalows on the beach, palm trees, white sand and a almost flat beach.
Klong Chao waterfall is also pretty cool, there is a rope swing to jump into the water and it's got a really magical atmosphere in general.
