Te Moana Nui, Tales of he Pacific had its exciting opening night at the beautiful Pacific Beach Hotel's Grand Ballroom and is now Waikiki's hottest new stage production.

Each guest is greeted with a carved Hawaiian Makau that represents Good Luck and cast members will pose with guests for souvenir photos. There are unique interactive craft tables for gifts and a sumptuous full-scale buffet where dinner show guests can enjoy their fill of fine Hawaiian food as well as great salads and delicious roast prime rib of beef. Visitor industry VIP's were on hand and the crowd of over 400 enjoyed great live pre-show music while state of the art technology coordinated by Afatia Thompson, president of Tihati Productions prepared to carry on the tradition of Polynesian entertainment excellence begun by Show legends Jack and Cha Thompson over 45 years ago. Cha Thompson and another entertainment icon Joe Recca treated the crowd to a surprise dance number just for fun before the main show began as well.
The show features the music, dances and culture of the South Pacific and is the only show in Waikiki to incorporate a stunning high definition screen to bring the staging for each segment of the show to a new level of breathtaking visual effects.
