DAY1- PRECISION RIFLE SERIES ..DALTON,NH JULY 8-9 2017 (TEAM O'NEIL RACING SCHOOL)
This was the first ever Precision rifle series match held in New England. It was held in the white mountains of New Hampshire at the Team O'Neil racing school in Dalton NH. We stayed in a small town called Littleton. This was an actual points race match so a lot of sponsored shooters were there. It was a great learning experience for me and some others who live in NE and don't have a chance to shoot with some of the best shooters in the country. This was Team O'Neil first every long range match and to hold such a large event without any smaller matches to test on they did an amazing job especially with prize tables for the top shooters. Ruger was a large sponsor, defiance, Swarovski, MPA and many others. The stages were positioned from 1 mountain to another so the wind was insane. Stage 1,2 we were holding left and stage 3-4 we were holding right and they were 25 yards away from each other on the same side of mountain. We also incountered updraft on the second day and everyone was shooting high. All and all it was very challenging and a good learning experience. You got to see how the top shooters approached each stage and we picked up different tips and tricks to help us on the next. We were team 1. I tried to get other shooters but a lot is from our squad. Thanks for watching
Morning Edition Hits The Road: Winter Driving Skills
Morning Edition Host Rick Ganley and Producer Mary McIntyre visited the Team O'Neil Rally School, which Tim O'Neil opened in 1997, for a report on winter driving safety. The winter driving courses at the Dalton, N.H., grounds are not the bread and butter for Team O'Neil - they are experts in rally driving, off-road driving, and security courses for individuals, companies, and government agencies. The winter driving is more of a public service. Or, as Training Director Travis Hanson jokes, a service to help protect (driving) humanity from itself during the winter months. Two words: Snow Tires.
