Mountain biking the east loop at the North Shore Trails just north of Dallas in Flower Mound TX. Such a flowy fun time. I had so much footage that I decided to break this into two parts. Come back next week for part 2!
LINDSEY PARK BIKE TRAIL
We drove out to Tyler Texas and I rode the Lindsey Park Bike Trail for my first time. Wow, what an amazing trail! It began with a very fast windy downhill that I loved. Got to try out my skills on the skinny, and the wooden features including my first wall ride. Definitely technically challenging with the hill climbs, roots and sand. This place will give you a total workout.

Mancation Day 1 - Palo Duro Canyon | MTB Vlog 10
After dropping off my son at the in-laws, I was off on an 8 day solo mountain biking trip. It had been a few years since my last big MTB trip and this was the first time I'd headed out solo. I was excited to get out on the road with nothing to worry about but myself.
First stop was Palo Duro Canyon. I had often passed these trails up on my way to Colorado or other destinations but since I was solo and on my own time, I decided to stop and check it out.
I rode Comanche Trail and Rock Garden. I heard later that I likely missed the best trails on the western side of the Canyon. Ah well.
After a ride in Palo Duro, I continued on to Santa Fe where I got in a couple of short runs on the Hustle and Flow trail in the La Tierra trail system.
I camped that night in Black Canyon Campground. A great start to a big Mancation!

Mountain Biking Solavaca Ranch Glen Rose, TX
Solavaca Ranch in Glen Rose, TX is one of my favorite places to ride as you can tell by the number of videos I have from there on my channel. I still have one more small section I need to film from there that I haven't even ridden yet called Lower Creek. This trail offers a lot of variety for all skill levels at just over 8 miles. The trail is just west of Glen Rose a little over 7 miles on FM 205 and is definitely worth the $3.00 dollar entrance fee! There are porta-jons in the parking lot but no water so bring your own. When you go, tell Mac hello and tell him I sent you. If you see him, you probably won't catch him on the trail, because he's super fast! Enjoy your ride and the beautiful scenery!
