Island Hopping In Thailand - Phuket, Krabi, Koh Samui & Koh Tao
Some highlights of my 3 week trip to Thailand where I visited Phuket, Krabi, Koh Samui & Koh Tao. I tried to squeeze in as much as possible when I was there, checking out all different gyms, trying all the local food, visiting all the beautiful Islands and more. I also shaved my head.

Cruising the LESSER KNOWN Islands of Thailand (MJ Sailing - EP 96)

As far as Thai islands go, most everyone has heard of Phuket, Ko Samui and Ko Tao....but we take the opportunity to get in depth with the lesser known gems...where there are still far more locals than tourists.
Heading ashore to Koh Mak after arriving, we find out we basically are the only tourists there! This super chill island is all set up for the laid back traveler...but we must have come ashore while they were all sleeping off their sun soaked antics of the afternoon. We did get in contact with our new friends Maria and Phillip, who happened to be staying there. The next day we brought them out for a day of fun on Island Breeze where we got in a sail, attempted a little snorkeling, did deck jumps into the water, and then enjoyed a sunset on the trampoline with rum & cokes in hand.
The next morning we haul anchor and set our sights on Koh Kood...much more focused to the resort visitors, but with plenty of pristine beaches. We make our first stop in front of the 6 star resort, Sonevea Kiri, where we're not allowed to go ashore, but we can take in the beautiful views from our cockpit. And an extra bonus for us, wanting to keep their guests as happy as possible, the resort built an amazing reef in front of their beach. Which also happens to be in our boat's back yard. And this trip is all about enjoying the water anyway.

Laem Chabang Thailand Cruise Port Terminal Tour & Info (4K)
See what the cruise port of Laem Chabang (Thai: แหลมฉบัง) looks like- the gateway to Pattaya and Bangkok. We were at Laem Chabang in March 2018 as part of our 14 day Asia cruise aboard the Majestic Princess (aka 盛世公主号). Take a tour of the inside of the terminal building, where there is plenty of local shopping inside.
Getting off the ship, you will need the cruise card, arrival card, and passport. In the Laem Chabang Thailand Cruise Port Terminal building, Thailand Immigration does a full mandatory immigration inspection, and everyone has to attend even if you are staying on the ship. The cruise line (in our case, Princess Cruises) will then re-collect your passports while you can go on shore with just the copy.
For us, the arrival time was 8:30 AM while all aboard was 6:30 PM. We chose not to go to Bangkok because it is a 3+ hour drive there one way, so we do a DIY excursion and went to visit Pattaya instead which was about 45 minutes one way. Taxi there is $60 USD, but we chose the sightseeing option where the driver will drop us off at our destinations in Pattaya and wait for us. That was $110, but we were able to convince them to do it for $90. We visited the Sanctuary of Truth (see our video: the museum Art in Paradise, and had a bit of free time in the Pattaya streets.

Never had I ever imagined myself experiencing such a lifestyle! Authentic Thai island lifestyle and the real fisherman village that mostly turned into a fisherman village tourism at Koh Phitak Chumphon Thailand.
We rented a scooter and rode all the way from Chumphon city. Stopped by a bit at Arunothai beach for one of the Thailand best fried chicken! Like, literally, hear how crispy it was! Then took a short boat ride from Koh Phitak Pier to Koh Phitak.
No Koh Samui, no Koh Phi Phi, no famous James Bond island here but if you're looking to experience one of the best of Thailand islands then, I can't recommend Koh Phitak enough!

Koh Samui, Thailand - 5 Islands Boat Tour
5 rock like islands dotted off the west coast of the Thai island of Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand. A tour on a Thai long boat near the rocks. On the Koh Samui coastline in the distance are seen 5 star hotel resorts. There's even a dog in one of the huts on the rock island!
Ang Thong National Marine Park
Ang Thong National Marine Park trip from koh phangan with orion cruise. The Koh Samui National Park Tour is almost the same. We visited the mu ko ang thong national park thailand 2018.
At the first stop 0:18 after about 2 hours boat ride from Koh Phangan we could go snorkeling in Angthong.
Stop 2 0:50 Koh Mae Ko where we were able to kayak around one of the islands and into one of the sea caves. We then climbed stairs to see the view point Koh Mae Ko of Anthong National Park and the Thale Nai Emerald Lake Blue Lagoon.
Stop 3 2:13 Koh Wua Ta Lap We climbed the stairs to the viewpoint Mirador Ko Wua Ta Lap 2:37 . The view of the islands of Angthong National Park was unforgettable. Ending the trip at an island Ko Wua Ta Lap with swimming and relaxing.

We took a Yacht around Ko Samui and the surrounding Islands
We were Lucky enough to hire a boat to tour Koh Samui and surrounding Islands. Having never been on a small boat like this before we set off to see if we had sea legs ( Or not ) !
Guided by our experienced Captain and Yacht owner Luca , We set off in search for some secluded family fun !
This Time last year we were still travelling our Asia leg of our travels !
Having the children and all the travelling took the fun out of making these videos due to how many hours they took to edit so We just stopped.
Having recuperated and with our Impending European Tour due to start in July Its given us the get up and go to get the remaining videos Edited and out there.
