LONDON WALK | Victoria Embankment to Paul's Walk by the River Thames | England
A first-person perspective London walk tour from Victoria Embankment to Paul's Walk.
Experience all of the sights and sounds as Watched Walker (yes, I’m talking about myself in the third person) takes us on a walking tour through the streets of London, featuring Paul’s Walk and Victoria Embankment. The route begins across from Temple Station on Victoria Embankment, travelling along the north bank of the River Thames, leading onto Paul’s Walk and ending by the Millennium Bridge.
Sights seen along the tour include the National Submarine War Memorial, King George V Silver Jubilee monument, Blackfriars Bridge and Pier, Tate Modern, and Millennium Bridge.
And in each video I've hidden a blinking eye, can you spot it? (It could appear more than once). In addition to the blinking eye, I've also added the Watched Walker logo to various scenes–it could be on buildings, vehicles or any other objects, so keep an eye out for it too!
Footage recorded March 2017.

The Thames River, London
The Thames is the second longest river (215 miles, 346 km) in the United Kingdom and the longest river entirely in England. It rises at Thames Head in Gloucestershire, and flows into the North Sea at the Thames Estuary. It has a special significance in flowing through London. While it is best known because its lower reaches flow through central
London, the river flows alongside several other towns and cities, including Oxford, Reading, Henley-on-Thames, Windsor and Richmond. The river is tidal in London with a rise and fall of 7 metres (23 ft). The Thames is fed by over 20 tributaries. It contains over 80 islands, and having both seawater and freshwater stretches, it supports a variety of wildlife. The River Thames has supported human
activity from its source to its mouth for thousands of years. It is `Liquid History` as John Burns put it. Watch more exclusive London videos on youtube.com/londonperspectives.
England: Cruising the River Thames
London was built on the Thames and this cruise gives a sense of the city that was once capital of the world's greatest empire. The journey reveals centuries of history and tradition: the dome of St. Paul's Cathedral, one of the first churches built after the 17th century Great Fire, Billingsgate Fish Market, and the infamous Tower of London. Starting near Westminster we pass under ten bridges, including the Millennium Bridge and the magnificent Tower Bridge, built in 1894. At journey's end we taste our way through the Vinopolis Wine Museum and explore Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. Tower Bridge London Famous Thames River Attractions England History UK by BK Bazhe.com
Tower Bridge -
One of the most famous London attractions and just over a hundred years old. Tower Bridge with its twin drawbridges, or bascules, each weighing about 1,000 tons have been raised more then half a million times since it was built. It takes only 90 seconds for the bascules to be raised with electric motors which replaced the old steam engines. From Tower Bridge you can view HMS Belfast, an 11,500-ton cruiser that opened the bombardment of the Normandy coast on D-Day.
