อุทยานแห่งชาติทับลาน Thap Lan National Park
อุทยานแห่งชาติทับลาน มีพื้นที่ครอบคลุมท้องที่อำเภอปักธงชัย อำเภอวังน้ำเขียว อำเภอครบุรี อำเภอเสิงสาง จังหวัดนครราชสีมา และอำเภอนาดี จังหวัดปราจีนบุรี สภาพป่ามีความอุดมสมบูรณ์และมีป่าลาน ซึ่งหาดูได้ยากที่มีเฉพาะบางท้องที่เท่านั้น มีต้นลานขึ้นตามธรรมชาติ เป็นแหล่งกำเนิดของแม่น้ำ ลำธารต่างๆ และมีธรรมชาติที่สวยงาม เช่น หุบผา หน้าผา น้ำตก เป็นอุทยานแห่งชาติที่มีเนื้อที่ใหญ่เป็นอันดับสองของประเทศ คือ มีเนื้อที่ประมาณ 1,397,375ไร่ หรือ 2,235.80 ตารางกิโลเมตร
อุทยานแห่งชาติทับลาน เป็นอุทยานแห่งชาติที่มีพื้นที่ส่วนหนึ่งอยู่ในเขตเทือกเขาพนมดงรัก สภาพภูมิประเทศโดยทั่วไปประกอบด้วยภูเขาใหญ่น้อยสลับซับซ้อนต่อเนื่องกันเป็นบริเวณกว้างขวาง โดยมีเขาที่สำคัญหลายลูก เช่น เขาละมั่ง เขาภูสามง่าม เขาภูสูง เขาใหญ่ เขาวง เขาสลัดได เขาทิดสี เขาไม้ปล้อง เขาทับเจ็ก และเขาด่านงิ้ว ซึ่งยอดเขาละมั่งเป็นยอดเขาที่สูงสุด มีระดับความสูงประมาณ 992 เมตรจากระดับน้ำทะเล เป็นเทือกเขายาวต่อเนื่องกันทำให้มีหุบเขาตามธรรมชาติ เหว และน้ำตก เป็นแหล่งกำเนิดของต้นน้ำหลายสาย เช่น ห้วยขมิ้น ห้วยปลาก้าง ห้วยคำแช ห้วยคำขี้แรด ห้วยมูลสามง่าม ห้วยภูหอม ห้วยกระทิง ห้วยลำเลย ห้วยกุดตาสี ห้วยลำดวน เป็นต้น ลำห้วยแต่ละสายไหลรวมกันเป็นแม่น้ำมูล ส่วนลำห้วยสวนน้ำหอม ห้วยหินยาว ห้วยชมพู ห้วยสาลิกา ห้วยวังมืด ห้วยลำไยใหญ่ ฯลฯ ลำห้วยเหล่านี้จะไหลรวมกันเป็นแม่น้ำบางปะกง
ส่วนภูมิอากาศที่ อุทยานแห่งชาติทับลาน ในช่วงฤดูลมมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ ตั้งแต่กลางเดือนพฤษภาคมถึงเดือนตุลาคม ความชุ่มชื้นจะถูกพัดมาจากทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทย จนทำให้พื้นที่บริเวณนี้ได้รับปริมาณน้ำฝนมาก เฉลี่ยตลอดปี 1,070 มิลลิเมตร ฝนจะตกชุกที่สุดในเดือนกันยายน ซึ่งเทือกเขาพนมดงรักจะปะทะลมมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้และทำให้ฝนตกในบริเวณด้านรับลมมากกว่าด้านไม่รับลม ฤดูหนาว เริ่มตั้งแต่เดือนพฤศจิกายนถึงเดือนมากราคม อากาศจะหนาวเย็นมากในเดือนธันวาคม ซึ่งเป็นเดือนที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยอุณหภูมิต่ำสุด 22.8 องศาเซลเซียส ฟดูร้อนเริ่มตั้งแต่กุมภาพันธ์ถึงเดือนพฤษภาคม อากาศจะร้อนอบอ้าวมากในเดือนเมษายนซึ่งมีอุณหภูมิเฉลี่ยสูงสุด 29.3 องศาเซลเซียส สำหรับอุณหภูมิเฉลี่ยตลอดปี 26.7 องศาเซลเซียส

The park covers an area of 2,168 square kilometres, including rain/evergreen forests and grasslands. 1,351 m high Khao Rom is the highest mountain within the park. The average altitude of the national park ranges from 400 to 1000 m above the sea level.
Khao Yai is part of Dong Phayayen-Khao Yai Forest Complex, a World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO, covering 5 protected areas from Khao Yai to Cambodian border. The other protected areas are; Pang Sida National Park, Thap Lan National Park, Ta Phraya National Park and Dong Yai Wildlife Sanctuary.
The main entrance is at north with nearest city Pak Chong (which you can reach by train) in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, the second entrance is at south in Nakhon Nayok province.

Haew Narok Waterfall is located at Km. 24 on Highway 3077. From the parking space, you have to walk further about 1 km. through Huay Sa Mo Poon to reach the viewpoint of the first level. The waterfall consist of 3 levels: the first level is a steep cliff 50 meters high. During rainy season, streams rapidly flow and splash down to the bottom, resulting in sound and droplets of water spending over. The 2nd and 3rd levels are quite dangerous and not open to the public.
Haew Suwat Waterfall originates from the story of a man named Suwat escaping from officers to this waterfall. Then, he decided to jump into the basin below. At Haew Suwat Waterfall, the streams fall from the cliff about 20 meters high and there are the viewpoints on the cliff and in the area of the basins and ponds below where visitors can play in the water. Национальный парк Пан Сида (Pang Sida National Park) объявлен национальным парком 24 февраля 1982 года. Находится он в центральной части Тайланда, в провинции Сакэо (Sakaeo). Endangered black bear killed in 'truck hit-and-run' while searching for food
This is the heart-breaking moment an endangered black bear was found dead on the roadside this morning after being killed in a suspected hit and run while he was searching for food.
The Asian black bear had been crossing the highway in search of fruit from the adjacent forest in dimly lit conditions just before sunrise in Prachin Buri, Thailand.
Park officials were alerted at 6am this morning to the dead animal and rushed to the scene but were unable to treat the bear, which was already dead. They said the animal suffered head injuries having been struck by a vehicle which then left the scene of the accident.
Tragically, the death comes just six months before a new underpass is due to be completed which is being built to reduce animal deaths from vehicles.
National Park officer Viroj Jaimunmanee said: ''We arrived immediately after hearing about the dead bear and were said to see the situation. Over the last few years, there have been a number of deaths of bears, bison and cattle killed on the road.''We expect that the bear was crossing the road to find food in the forest in the early hours of the morning when it was still dark. I believe a truck hit the bear at speed and fled the scene without noticing or stopping to check on it.''
The bear was found near the Thap Lan National Park. Viroj said that the bear's carcass had now been taken away for disposal. He said that officials will be constructing a new underpass in the coming months to try to reduce the number of deaths. It is due to be completed in December.
