Eloise Tregeagle - a Musical Cornish Tale, featuring Natalie Mossayebi and Tyn Daga (Alan Burton, Greg Dyer, Paul Lewin, Gavin Nicol).
During its successful Cornwall-wide 2018 tour, our Carn to Cove performance at the Acorn Theatre, Penzance was filmed, serving as a permanent record of this critically acclaimed musical theatre production, as featured on Radio 4 and BBC Radio Cornwall.
“A feast for the eyes and ears, this play brings to life fascinating stories about Cornwall’s buried past. I loved it!”
— Martha Dixon – BBC Radio 4
Eloise Tregeagle is a musical narrative that has it all – legends, Barbary pirates, shipwrecks, mystical happenings, romance, betrayal and redemption. Set in West Penwith during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I and King James VI/I, this original story delves deep into West Cornwall’s history and traditions, and visits far flung shores with songs and tales of love, loss and loyalty, steeped in Cornish folklore.
So, enter a bygone world filled with original music and songs by the critically acclaimed Cornish band Tyn Daga (described as ‘World class‘ by The Cornish Guardian) with dramatic story telling, a host of compelling characters, film and atmospheric soundscapes.
