The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man is a motion-based 3D dark ride located at the Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Japan theme parks. Built for Islands of Adventure's opening in 1999, the attraction is a hybrid ride combining special roving motion vehicles with 3D projection, elaborate physical sets, and both practical and tactile effects.
The ride takes park guests-turned-last-minute-reporters into the world of Marvel Comics' Spider-Man, and after boarding a Daily Bugle vehicle known as the Scoop, the rider learns that the evil Sinister Syndicate has captured the Statue of Liberty with an anti-gravity gun. This evil group is made up of many famous Spider-Man villains, including Doctor Octopus, Scream, Electro, Hydro-Man, and the Hobgoblin.
fter donning night vision goggles (3D glasses) the cub reporters get in the Scoop and leave the loading docks to a Manhattan[8] back alley where they encounter Spider-Man.[9] He warns that he is in for the most dangerous night of his life and for the guests to be careful.[8] In this scene, a series of synchronised effects are used to simulate Spider-Man jumping on the Scoop.[10][11] Nearly missing a trash truck, the guests enter a warehouse where the Sinister Syndicate are holding the Statue of Liberty hostage. Once spotted, Electro, Scream, and Doctor Octopus attack and hurl the Scoop into the sewer, where Spider-Man is waiting. After he fends off Hydro-Man there, the guests escape narrowly to the river where Hobgoblin attacks with exploding pumpkins and sends guests into the streets.

The Amazing Adventures Of Spider-Man is a virtual reality, 3-D, motion ride. It originally opened in Universal Islands Of Adventure- Orlando, Florida in 1999. The villains have stole the Statue Of Liberty and it is up to Spider-Man and you to save the day. You will encounter numerous Marvel Characters as you fly above the streets and fight the bad guys. This is a must see attraction at Universal Islands Of Adventure.

The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man is a theme park ride located in Islands of Adventure, in Orlando, Florida and Universal Studios Japan. Built for Islands of Adventure's opening in 1999, the attraction is a hybrid ride combining special roving motion vehicles with 3-D projection, elaborate physical sets, and both practical and tactile effects. This system was later utilized for a haunted house ride at Busch Gardens Williamsburg called The Curse of DarKastle, and is expected to be used on the Transformers ride currently under construction at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Singapore.
The ride takes park guests-turned-last-minute-reporters into the world of Marvel Comics' Spider-Man, and after boarding a Daily Bugle vehicle known as the Scoop, the rider learns that the evil Sinister Syndicate has captured the Statue of Liberty with an anti-gravity gun. This evil group is made up of many famous Spider-Man villains, including Doctor Octopus, Scream, Electro, Hydro-Man, and the Hobgoblin.
On May 19, 2011, Universal announced a major refurbishment of the attraction, with plans to re-master the entire ride-film in High-definition as well as to update the ride's mechanics and to replace the film projectors with Infitec digital projectors. The refurbished version of the attraction is planned to debut in 2012.

I was just at Universal's Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida and was lucky enough to get to go on my favorite ride once more and now it is better than ever before! I'm talking about The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, of course; which very recently received HD enhancements which just make the best even better. There's even 4 times Stan Lee is in the ride now!
Anyway, I love the cartoon which plays while you wait in line walking through the Daily Bugle and I wanted to save the entire thing because I'm sure others would like to be able to watch it as well. I was able to record the most of this early in the morning right after the park opened and before everyone got there, so for the most part this video is pretty audible. Just please excuse the very beginning, which is from another take later in the day and in turn harder to make out. The rest is ok, though!
This 30 minute animated 'newscast' was created by Galaxy Digimation in 1998/1999 for Universal Studios and can be broken into 4 different segments which are played in the 4 different rooms of the queue.
Part 1 (Daily Bugle entrance) You are introduced to the Daily Bugle on a tour and the vehicle which you will consequently ride in as fate will have it.
Part 2 (Daily Bugle offices) A 'live' newscast is playing as New York City is befallen to terror and chaos from a group of supervillains!
Part 3 Due to the staff missing, J. Jonah Jameson drafts you into the perilous city and get the story.
Part 4 (loading dock) Before you board the high tech Scoop vehicle you get the lowdown on it, being first field test and all.
