Arkansas River Trail - Little Rock 10/11/15
Fourth time to ride the river trail. First time we got lost. Second time there was flooding which blocked the full ride. Third time the derailleur blew up on my bike. Fourth time the chain came off and lodged behind the pin on the drive sprocket. After struggling with that the camera bracket breaks. At least we didn't get lost and had several people as us for directions and several others compliment us on our 3 Foot Please shirts!
16.28 miles in 1:28. 11.2 mph average speed.
The Arkansas River: from Leadville to Lamar
This hour-long documentary about the Arkansas River from Leadville to Lamar explores the economic and social importance of the river including its recreational, municipal, and agricultural value. By the year 2050, the population of Colorado is expected to double. But future growth and economic development hinges on a dependable water supply. In response, the State is implementing a water plan that will meet the needs of recreational, municipal and agricultural users. The Arkansas River basin is an important part of that plan, and this documentary will educate and inspire viewers to care for this critically important resource.
Climbing Pinnacle Mountain, Little Rock, Arkansas
April 27, 2011. This 5-minute video is of Michael, Amanda, Stephen and me climbing the 1,000 ft. Pinnacle Mountain, just a few miles west of Little Rock, and a couple of miles north of the Arkansas River. It was a fun climb and we had a great day together.

Arkansas River Trails Part 1
This is the first video in a series of virtual walks that will eventually provide a complete set, covering the 15.6 mile loop across the Big Dam Bridge to the south side of the Arkansas River on to the Clinton Presidential Park Bridge and crossing to the north side of the river and back to the Big Dam Bridge. Enjoy the beauty of the diverse geographical scenery and watch commercial river traffic while you are tread-milling, spinning, elliptical training or just virtually exploring the Central Arkansas Area.
16 Mile Bike Ride around the River Trail Arkansas
Take a quick tour at 4x speed around the River Trail with me. My batteries started dying around Cajuns, so the last part of the trail skips around a bit, but I captured most of the trail, so you get the idea. Burns Park, Emerald Park, North Little Rock Riverfront, Clinton Library, Little Rock Rivermarket, Cantrell, Cajuns, Big Dam Bridge
Arkansas River Trails Part 2
In this second installment to the series we take a diversion from the l5.6 mile loop and head west on the south side of the river from “Murray Lock and Dam” under both the east and west ramps of the Big Dam Bridge to the “Trail of Parks Plaza” and cross the “Two Rivers Park Bridge” to enjoy the view from the point of the peninsula where the Little Maumelle and Arkansas rivers merge.
Arkansas is The Natural State - Part 5 (Buffalo River Trail Continued)
Continuing along the Buffalo River Trail from Ponca to Kyle's Landing, we run into a little trouble. The intensity of this section of trail called for trekking poles. We meet Jeremy from Kansas City and decide to split the campsite. We weren't prepared for what was coming. #stateparkers #adventure #camping #hiking Support us on Patreon at patreon.com/stateparkers **Important!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a recent video shoot our primary camera was completely destroyed by the wind and gravity. We are trying to raise $1000 to rectify this situation. I (Clint) recently lost my job. This couldn't have happened at a worse time. Thank you beyond expression if you can help us achieve our goal of getting a new camera.
Sincerely,
Clint and Melody Parker
Arkansas River Flood at Little Rock
Officially this is about a foot below flood stage. Seeing as how most of the land on the North Little Rock side of the river is completely flooded, I don't quite understand but I'm not the USGS.
The Arkansas River Trail on the North Little Rock side is under many many feet of water.
Arkansas River Trail 09/06/15
17 mile loop running in Little Rock and north Little Rock, Arkansas. Had a derailleur snap right at the end of the video. Unfortunately both times we have ridden this trail we lose it coming up the hill from the Episcopal Collegiate School. When you come up this hill be prepared to cross a very busy street with no crosswalk, etc. After that there are no more trail markings. Endomondo shows the ride as 16.23 miles with an average speed of 9.1 which was greatly diminished due to walking the last 4.3 miles. Filmed with an SJ4000 bar mounted to a Vilano Touno.
The Arkansas River Trail
My morning bike ride along the River Trail on the North Little Rock side. The only side to ride really...
