Avenue of 444 Flags
The Avenue of 444 Flags came into being during the Iranian Hostage crisis from November 4, 1979, to January 20, 1981. 100 flags were raised on the 100th day, with another one added each day until the hostages were released It stands today as a reminder that freedom isn't free, and as a tribute to all the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. It is in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Hermitage, PA.

The Hogback Bridge, on Hogback road in Hermitage Pennsylvania. In 1998 I did a short movie, 6 stories based on true ghost stories from northeastern Ohio and western PA. I recieved 3 stories from 3 different people from different parts of PA, on the same bridge. Legend has it, a girl was killed under this bridge many years ago and her image will appear on this bridge. Your car wont start, green light in the woods, girl screaming etc. You can share your responces, stories at cooley54@gmail.com
