Swan Bell Tower houses the twelve bells of St Martins In the Field. They were last recast in 1725 and are the only royal bells known to have ever left England. They rang out the New Year at Trafalgar Square for more than 275 years, celebrated the coronation of every British monarch since King George II in 1727, and marked other historic occasions such as the homecoming of Captain James Cook after his voyage of discovery in 1771
The Bell Tower also has ancient clocks, an observation deck overlooking the Swan River and botanical gardens, and very friendly and informative staff.

On this video we take a look at some of the different aspects of the Perth CBD's landscape, both urban and natural.
We begin with Kings Park -- the jewel of the crown when it comes to inner city parks in the world. With around 400 hectares of beautiful parklands to walk through, you will be impressed by Kings Park. It's a favourite amongst both locals and visitors.
During springtime, Kings Park comes alive with the wildflower season. View colourful flowers including the everlastings and the distinctive red and green kangaroo paws. The wildflower season in Western Australia runs from around June to November.
Still at Kings Park, we pay our tribute to the soldiers who died defending our country, including in World War I and II. The war memorial located at Mount Eliza with its flame of remembrance has an everlasting presence.
We then take a visit to the Perth CBD and wander through the shopping areas. Popular places to shop at include the Murray Street Mall, and London Court, which its famous Tudor England frontage and architecture.
In Perth, we take a stroll to the Perth foreshore to visit the Bell Tower. You can have an enjoyable outing to Barrack Street Jetty, which has beautiful views of the Swan River.
Consider catching the ferry from Barrack Street Jetty to Mend Street Jetty to explore the South Perth foreshore. The Perth Zoo is located a short walk from Mend Street Jetty.
In the city, you can have a photo shoot with the bronzed kangaroos that are located outside the Perth Council building at 27 St Georges Terrace.
