This is Further into our family trip down into North Carolina in the van life van. We decided to stay at the Bike Farm, sounds appropriate with the amount of biking we do! Well, let me tell you, if you want to get over 1300 feet of climbing in under 4 miles, this is the place! But if you have kids, the terrain is too steep for them to ride bikes and scooters.
On this epic adventure I see a road gap, some very steep terrain, find a pump track, and rip my ass on a cut off tree branch! Will I jump the road gap?

We’ve been a little bit of everywhere filming Trail TV. But damn you, Pisgah (and DuPont), you’ve stolen my heart. And tore my legs to hell and back.
Who cares when you’re bombing down some killer singletrack smiling a toothy grin as a result, right? 10-4, good buddy. Whatever the magic is, they’re pulling a rabbit out of a hat on a daily basis in Asheville and its little (better looking) cousin just down the road.
In two weeks, we hardly scratched the surface of the awesome riding/beer culture there. Nor did we get close to hitting every brewery serving up the secret sauce. We came away saying this place is the whole enchilada because of the vibe (with apologies to Moab).
Time to watch just a little... and get ready to pack your bags. You’ve got a plane to catch.

We were lucky to be one of the first groups to stay at The Bike Farm near Brevard, NC. The Bike Farm links to Dupont State Rec. Area. This drop is near the cabin where we stayed. Rad.
1981 Asheville Highway, Brevard, North Carolina
New 1,100 square foot mountain cabin sitting on 3.7 acres, bordering Pisgah National Forest with a trail connecting to the Art Loeb Trail. Small Creek can be heard from the front covered porch. Short bike ride to the city's bike path that connects to downtown Brevard and Pisgah Forest. Great location with city utilities and an amazing amount of privacy with Pisgah National Forest as your neighbor. Loft not counted in total square footage.

Vlog 020: February 17, 2018. On that weekend I didn't feel to well to ride. Therefore, we went to stay at the Bike Farm in Pisgah Forest, NC so that Trent could still go to ride at DuPont State Park while I still could enjoy the nature, being outside and relax.
