Botanical Gardens Bucharest: roses season
Bucharest’s Botanical Gardens are 150 years old and were founded in 1860 with the significant financial backing of Prince Alexandru Ioan Cuza, at the time the leader of the nascent Romanian state. The rose garden is lovely. The aroma is magical. There are also several areas dedicated to countries - such as the Italian garden and the Japanese island accessed by a quaint little bridge. Plenty of seats around to sit and admire the roses.

It has a surface of 17.5 hectares (including 4,000 m² of greenhouses), and has more than 10,000 species of plants.

Botanical Garden „ Alexandru Borza ” Cluj-Napoca, Romania
The garden is over 14 hectares in area, with over 10,000 plants from throughout the world. It is divided into ornamental,phytogeographic (geobotanical), systematic (taxonomical), economic, and medicinal sections.
