SONNET 29
When, in disgrace with fortune and men's eyes,
I all alone beweep my outcast state
And trouble deaf heaven with my bootless cries
And look upon myself and curse my fate,
Wishing me like to one more rich in hope,
Featured like him, like him with friends possess'd,
Desiring this man's art and that man's scope,
With what I most enjoy contented least;
Yet in these thoughts myself almost despising,
Haply I think on thee, and then my state,
Like to the lark at break of day arising
From sullen earth, sings hymns at heaven's gate;
For thy sweet love remember'd such wealth brings
That then I scorn to change my state with kings.
Now available in full score and piano vocal reduction score form on Amazon and Sheet Music Plus websites.

James Nathaniel Holland, classical music composer
Holland began composing classical music when he was 10 years of age. Born and raised in Western Indiana, he was musically educated at DePauw University in Greencastle Indiana where he studied piano with Lorna Griffitt and Patricia Hetrick and ensemble band music and direction with John T. Wilson at North Putnam High School.
In 1984 he attended Interlochen National Music Camp where he studied piano, and composition with composers Jeff Haas and Paul Wehr. He acquired his vocal performance degree in 1988 from DePaw with work at Indiana University. During the summers he performed in theater in Hagerstown Indiana and College Light Opera Company in Cape Cod, West Falmouth MA. He studied and sang a semester abroad in Vienna Austria under the guidance of tenor Frank Kubik. An early musical was selected for DePauw's main-stage production line-up his senior year.
After his musical studies, he performed Gilbert and Sullivan with the Light Opera of Manhattan off-Broadway theater company in New York City. In Los Angeles, he was choir director for a brief time at Culver City Presbyterian Church and later back in New York, a regular tenor soloist at Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church and the Saint Vincent Ferrer Cathedral in Manhattan.
In 1997 he volunteered in Peace Corps and was stationed in Haiti, a culture, that on a mission trip in 1990, enchanted him and has shaped his musical vision throughout his life.
As composer, he wrote incidental music for many theater productions including I Never Saw Another Butterfly and Shakespeare's comedy As You Like It In 2002 he founded the composers collective, Northern New Jersey Camarata which featured in concerts his and such composers as William Vollinger, Allen Stern, and Donald Sandborn. He was one of the first music composers to participate in the American Music Centers on-line library project.
His farcical opera, The Discontented Housewife was performed by the New Jersey Concert Opera Company and the Gay Men's Chorus featured selections from his other operas Menkaure and The One Upstairs.
In 2005 he made a leap to Central American country of Costa Rica where he currently lives, producing concerts featuring his music, and performing in opera productions at the Melico Salazar and National Theaters.

Verse 1
Blow, blow, thou winter wind,
Thou art not so unkind
As man's ingratitude;
Thy tooth is not so keen,
Because thou art not seen,
Although thy breath be rude.
Chorus
Heigh-ho! sing,heigh-ho!
unto the green holly:
Most friendship is feigning,
most loving mere folly:
Then, heigh-ho, the holly!
This life is most jolly.
Verse 2
Freeze, freeze, thou bitter sky,
That does not bite so nigh
As benefits forgot:
Though thou the waters warp,
Thy sting is not so sharp
As friend remembered not.
(To chorus)

United for Jamaica (Full Documentary)
FR :

In 1998, three young reggae enthusiasts from Aubagne (France) travel to Jamaica. The trip inspired the creation of Kabba Roots, an association with the mission of developing and promoting Jamaican culture beyond its borders as well as organizing intercultural exchanges. Friends for over 15 years, they embark yet again on another trip in 2015, but this time, in order to bring to life their craziest initiative. They want to extend and solidify their support for Jamaica by purchasing land in the middle of the Rockfort ghetto in Kingston, and building a cultural center for the community. The documentary United for Jamaica directed by Charles Perez and produced by Blackstone Productions is an inside look into the construction of the community center.
