Riding Michigan's only alpine slide - The Crystal Coaster at Crystal Mountain
The Crystal Coaster, built in 2009, is like a luge track. But there's no ice, the sled you're on is a bit more comfortable, and riders sit up straight. Riders take a chairlift to the top of the mountain. Then they get to fly down on the coaster. Two parallel runs twist down 1,700 feet to the bottom of the ski hill.
Alpine Slide at Crystal Mountain Michigan
POV video on the alpine slide at crystal mountain in northern Michigan. They have 2 slides there, and I filmed both in them. I was surprised how fast you can get going on this... The video was a little slower just because I was trying to balance my camera (5D Mark II, 17-40L).
Great time, highly recommended... keep your knees tucked in or you may loose some skin in the corners. :P

Park City, Utah has long been praised as a prime skiing destination. It is very safe in general. It's also very expensive, but if you have the funds, it's a great area.
Utah's largest Alpine Coaster is amazing for the traveler. The high path winds you through more than a mile of loops, bends and hairpin bend at speeds up to 30 mph. Just like your favorite roller coaster - but with the refreshing mountain scenery of Park City.
Originally intended as an aid to travel over snow, they are now mainly used recreationally in the sport of skiing.
This is a family-friendly resort review of family fun at Park City Utah and we hope you enjoy this trip review. Park City Mountain Resort is a ski resort in the western United States in Park City, Utah, located 32 miles (51 km) east of Salt Lake City.

High Speed Alpine Slide - Park City, Utah, USA
My (almost) brakeless run on the alpine slide at Park City in Utah. It's definitely not the easiest ride to go down at this speed and retain control, but that challenge is half the fun. I consider it the most fun ride at Park City if you are looking for a good thrill!
Fastest Alpine Slide Time - Bavaria, Germany
My world record attempt on the Alpine Slide in Germany. Watch other Alpine Slide videos on youtube and you'll see I'm clearly the winner haha

Alpine Slide (On-ride HD POV) - Attitash Mountain Resort
The two Alpine Slides at Attitash Mountain Resort in New Hampshire have been thrilling riders for over 40 years. It's one of the longest alpine slide tracks in the world and it's a real thrill ride. Unlike alpine coasters (where the car is fixed to a track) these alpine slides involve a lot more skill and judgement as you can capsize or leave the track if you go too fast. Here is my ride down the alpine slide, filmed with the kind permission of the resort.
