Garda pepper sprays and arrests a helpless homeless person in Ireland
This happened on my way home from college yesterday its absolutely outrageous behavior by a Garda on Henry Street Dublin. A poor homeless man was treated like an animal, when a Garda tried to arrest him he pushed him against the floor and pepper sprayed him right in the eyes when the poor man was clearly not making any sort of an attack or movement towards the Garda. He then stood there with his leg on the man as if the man was going to run somewhere.

Irish Pub Music in Galway
Galway pubs can be broadly categorised by the types that frequent them ie Trendy Young Things strictly 20-30 year olds prefer the BierHaus, Massimos and the Blue Note which apparently has ‘cool tunes’ with The Crane, Roisin Dubh and Munroes bringing up the rear for traditional music and contemporary gigs. The After Work Hangouts include the likes of Bar 8 on the docks, The Dail (not the real one) the Front Door and Busker Browns where after work can easily run into breakfast the following morning.
The Irish Welcome Los Cristianos
Probably the worst video footage ever shot in The Irish Welcome, Los Cristianos, Tenerife. I hadn't owned the camcorder for long so I was still getting used to the settings - so apologies to every one who loves The Irish Welcome, Alans' singing and Norrie the bar owner.

Right to Work Protest at Dail Tuesday 11th May 2010
Thousands took to the streets to protest at the bailout of the banks and at the jobs crisis in Ireland. Watch some of the speeches, listen to the views of some of the protestors.
John Bisset a veteran campaigner for social justice was particularly scathing of the role of the media in backing up the propaganda war on workers, women, the poor, the disabled and the vulnerable. There were some scuffles at the Daíl where people tried to get in.
Speakers included Fintan O'Toole (Irish Times), Jeanette Byrne (Patients Together), Siobhan O'Donoghue (Community Workers Co-op), John Kidd (Siptu Firefighters), Cllr Richard Boyd Barrett (People Before Profit), Professor Kathleen Lynch (UCD), Ruadhan MacAodhán (Sinn Féin)and John Bisset from the Canals Communities Project.

Walking Tours of Galway - Claddagh Thatched Cottage, Galway, Ireland.
The first thatched cottage built in the Claddagh village, Galway in nearly a hundred years. Katies Cottage, part of the Claddagh Craft Village, will open to the public in April 2016. Built and roofed in the same way the Claddagh fishermen used to do in the 18th and 19th centuries, using local materials Rye, Wheat and Hazel and Ash, this cottage will become a magnet for tourism in Galway. When giving 'Walking Tours of Galway' I love to bring visitors to see the Claddagh, as well as the Spanish Arch, the Latin Quarter, Lynch's Castle, St. Nicholas Collegiate Church, Galway Cathedral, Salthill, the Corrib river, the Salmon Weir, Eyre Square, and Woodquay. I visit great pubs, especially O'Connors Pub in Salthill, O'Connells Bar in Eyre Square, Garavans, the Quays, The Dail, Sonny Molloys, Tigh Coili, Tigh Foxes, Taffes, the Crane, and Monroes. Galway is a beautiful city to visit anytime of the year and it is the gateway to Connemara and the Aran Islands. Be sure to look me up, Brian Nolan, Galway Walks, Walking Tours of Galway, Fireside Tours, Ghost Tours, Literary Tours, Folklore, Genealogy and tracing your roots. Our ancestors have lived in Ireland, and around Galway Bay for thousands of years, let me show you where and how they lived. Book a tour today.
