Safari Diving Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen Playa Chica Reef Dive
Welcome to my channel, I hope you enjoy watching all the kayak fishing around the UK, mostly in the North Sea - in the sea and river, fishing for cod, bass, tope, dogfish, smoothound, thornback ray, whiting, wrasse and anything else I can target There's scuba diving off the North Norfolk Coast and Suffolk, wreck diving, reef diving, river diving, even Cenote Diving, in the Red Sea off Egypt, the Mediterranean off Malta and Gozo and in Mexico, Brazil, Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, Pembrokeshire in Wales, Swanage and Plymouth and of course the diving with sharks in South Africa. There's kayaking too, including surfing sailing and touring in the UK and abroad and a bit of snorkelling, Plenty of videos too of me fiddling with and driving my classic car, a 1973 Triumph Spitfire and other cars get a look in too. There's cooking, eating, travelling around various cities in Europe - Berlin in Germany, Naples and Rome in Italy, plus the Vatican; Sofia, Varna, Plovdiv and elsewhere in Bulgaria; Lefkosia / Nicosia and much of Cyprus, Krakow in Poland, there's Malta too. Istanbul in Turkey just outside Europe too, and Egypt around Hurghada. Further afield there's a bit of South Africa and Latin America with the Mayan Riviera of Mexico and Rio de Janeiro, Paraty and Isla Grande in Brazil. There's even a bit of Northern Ireland and parts of England mixed in with the nonsense of East Anglia in a camper van with my daughters! If you enjoy one video please watch another and consider subscribing so you don't miss future uploads however crap they might be! Thanks and regards, Mark

Diving at Lanzarote Puerto del carmen
During our Holliday at Club LaSanta we had a chance to go diving near Puerto del Carmen.
The dive centre at LaSanta arranged the diving. Johnny and David took us on guided tours from the beach and down to 18 meters. Absolute perfect.
Highly recommendable -- Anette, Henrik, Peter and Thomas

Video transcript:
- - Today I'm promoting our new hotel, Aqua Suites. We're located in Puerto del Carmen in Lanzarote. Four-star, boutique hotel in the sun. There's 67 rooms, the emphasis is on very good food, very high quality food and service. All a la carte food, none of your queuing for buffets as in other hotels. You can have breakfast and evening meal, or breakfast and lunch, and we also have a Mexican restaurant in the old town that you can switch one of your meals. Close to the hotel, you've got the main beach, which is Playa Grande, where you've got all the water sports. You've got, down at on the Playa Chica, where all the diving takes place. There's an increasing amount of very high-end shops along Puerto del Carmen, as well, so it's become an increasingly good destination for shoppers.
I Saw Sharks Scuba Diving In Puerto Del Carmen | Lanzarote Travel Vlog #5
In this video, I scuba dive just off the coast of Puerto Del Carmen. We saw angle sharks on both dives, which were the first sharks I've encountered whilst scuba diving. The water around the Canary Islands is crystal clear which makes Scuba diving here amazing.

ABOUT PUERTO DEL CARMEN:
Puerto del Carmen is located on the south-east side of Lanzarote and is the longest established and best known resort on the island, in fact, most of Lanzarote's over 2 million visitors per year choose this town as their destination. In the 70’s there were only two hotels, the San Antonio (VIK hotels group) located at the Los Pocillos beach and Los Fariones (Grupo Fariones) situated near to the Old Town. Today, Puerto del Carmen has plenty of accommodation from apartments, impressive luxury private villas, to the newer hotels like Seaside Jameos Playa and Las Costas in Los Pocillos, Hotel Beatriz Playa or Las Gaviotas in Matagorda. The Avenida de las Playas, the main avenue, known by expats as The Strip, is accompanied by 6 km of beaches, starting from the Old Town all the way to Matagorda, close to the airport. Locals are friendly and are ready to help.
Puerto del Carmen consists of 3 main beaches:
Playa Blanca (also known as Playa Grande), this is the big beach, the best known beach in Puerto del Carmen, over a kilometre long with plenty of sunbeds, swan pedalos, water sports and a water park.
Playa Chica, this is the small beach close to the old harbour (Old Town) great for diving, scuba diving, flyboard, parascending, and jet skis for hire. Playa de los Pocillos, the widest and also over a kilometre long of golden sand with sunbeds.
Playa Matagorda, also a five star beach from which you can walk all the way to the airport, popular for plane spotting. Further on, at the end of Puerto del Carmen, you find Lanzarote’s dog friendly Guacimeta beach.
If you come to Puerto del Carmen try to be here for the best carnival in Lanzarote, a party that starts from 5pm till late, from Matagorda area making its way through the main avenue all the way to the Old Town. Puerto del Carmen also hosts another great event, known all over the world, the Lanzarote Ironman, it takes place each May, with the swimming starting at Playa Grande, in front of Linekers Bar, continuing with a bike ride around the island and finalizing with a marathon with laps from Playa Grande to Matagorda, making Lanzarote the destination for world-class athletes.

Ship Wrecks in Puerto del Carmen - Lanzarote, Spain
In the harbor of Puerto del Carmen, a coastal town in Lanzarote (Canary Islands, ES), you can explore the remains of six boats in just one dive. The deepest part of the dive, where the remains are scattered in pieces, oscillates between -35 and -40m. The shallowest wreck, however, is in much better conditions and hangs over a ledge between -25 and -15m.

Scuba Diving The Blue Hole in Puerto Del Carmen (Lanzarote) 2018
Help me reach 1000 subscribers -
This video showcases scuba diving in Lanzarote and is one of the best places I have dived so far. With a wide range of marine life on offer, ranging from; Octopus, Trumpetfish and Angle sharks (to name a few) accompanied with the clear, warm waters, the Canary Islands really are a fantastic place to dive.
On this trip, I got to dive at Waikiki which has several shipwrecks near the harbor wall. This was the first time I’ve got to explore shipwrecks and it was one of my favorite dives of the holiday. Visiting the Museum Atlántico was also a highlight. It was designed by Jason Decaires Taylor and is one of the biggest underwater museums in the world. He created around 300 life-sized figures, cast from real people and grouped in several installations that draw attention to issues such as climate change, conservation, and migration.
The largest installation is entitled The Rubicon and it comprises a group of 40 people walking towards a gateway. The figures aren't paying attention to where they are going some have their eyes closed, some are taking selfies, others are engrossed in their phones. Taylor says this work is about climate change and how mankind seems to be heading blindly towards a point of no return.
Lanzarote (Canary Islands) lies on a tectonic plate boundary in the east of the Atlantic Ocean. One of the features of this plate boundary is a ridge running along the ocean floor which is packed with marine life and has many swim-throughs and caves which make for an amazing diving experience and underwater exploring.
Our tour guides for the week were Manta Diving Lanzarote. The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and we had a great week with them! They also post amazing photos/videos on Instagram (go check them out).
Thank you for watching.
