Does Eerie Photo From Scene of Deadly Crash Show Stairway to Heaven?
Following a fatal car crash in Georgia last month, a photo captured a beam of light shining down on the wreckage, leaving many to believe it was an illumination from heaven. Hannah Simmons, 23, her 9-month old baby and her best friend all died in the accident after Simmons lost control of her car. Anisa Gannon was on her way to work when she came upon the scene and took the photo. At the time, she didn't know anyone died nor did she notice the beam of light.
Two killed and several hurt as bus crashes and overturns
A bus carrying dozens of people crashed and overturned in the US state of Delaware, leaving two women dead and several other people injured, authorities said.
Officials said the accident did not involve other vehicles and happened around 4:20 p.m. (0020 GMT) on Sunday in New Castle in the northern part of the state, south of Wilmington.
In a news release, Delaware State Police spokesman Sergeant Paul Shavack said there were 49 passengers on the bus when it was travelling on an exit ramp.
The bus was going through a curve when it left the road and overturned. It slid on its roof down a grass embankment and came to rest on its left side, Shavack said.
A 54-year-old woman from New York was found under the bus and was pronounced dead at the scene, he said. A 30-year-old woman from Istanbul, Turkey, was taken to a hospital and died Sunday night.
The other passengers were taken to area hospitals for injuries varying in severity.
Investigators were interviewing the bus driver, 56-year-old Jinli Zhao, who was not critically injured, authorities said.
The passengers were taking a 3-day sightseeing tour to Washington that began on Friday in New York, authorities said. The crash happened as the bus was heading back to New York.

Future Infrastructures: The Over and Under of I-81
March 22, 2018 in Slocum Hall. Presented by City Scripts and City Symposia.
The symposium is the second in a series, made possible by a unique partnership between two internationally prominent colleges at Syracuse University, the School of Architecture and the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. The partners believe their collaboration will insure that policy and design are at the forefront when confronting the challenges facing cities in the United States and around the world.
The goal of the symposium is to create an ongoing, interdisciplinary and applied dialogue that reaches beyond the university and, ultimately, influences both policy and design.
Future Infrastructures: The Over and Under of I-81 will focus on the choices for renovating or re-routing the I-81 elevated highway in Syracuse, New York from both urban design and public policy perspectives. This challenge facing the city engages a range of interdisciplinary issues and is emblematic of similar infrastructural questions confronting cities across world.

First Person with Henry Weil, June 27, 2019
Through the First Person program, Holocaust survivors have the opportunity to share their remarkable personal stories of hope, tragedy, and survival with thousands of visitors at the Museum. This program was recorded on June 27, 2019. It features Henry Weil, who was born in Vienna, Austria, in 1935. On March 12, 1938, German roots marched into Austria and annexed the country the following day. Over the course of the next year, Henry’s father Hugo made several trips to the American consulate in Vienna to ensure passage and emigration to the United States for himself and his family. They escaped Austria and eventually settled in Wilmington, Delaware. Henry’s parents both became naturalized U.S. citizens in 1941. After World War II ended, Henry and his parents learned that his father’s family all perished in concentration camps while his mother’s family all survived.

Step-By-Step Instructions To Pass 3 Point Turn :: K Turn :: Y Turn
A 3 point turn is a required slow speed manoeuvre for a road test. Watch the video to learn how. PASS YOUR ROAD TEST FIRST TIME CHECKLIST: SUBSCRIBE TODAY! ►
#3pointturn #smartdrivetest #passfirsttime
Most of a passenger vehicle road test is in a forward motion – approximately 7/8th of the test is in a forward motion, however, the 1/8 that is slow-speed manoeuvres gives new drivers the most challenge.
For the purpose of a road test, drivers are required to know how to do a 3 point turn. The step-by-step directions for a 3 point turn can be found here:
Most of the time, a driving examiner will take you a dead end street, or a thoroughfare with minimal traffic to complete this manoeuvre. As well, the street will be narrow and will preclude you from doing a ‘U’ turn.
It is important to go slow for this manoeuvre – no or little throttle is required. Often a driver will be required to apply the brake to control the speed of the vehicle.
Other key components of the 3 point turn are observation and communication. In other words, you must not move the vehicle until the way is clear in both directions, and you communicate to other traffic what you are doing on the roadway.
STEP-BY-STEP Instructions for 3 Point Turn
You are stopped at the right side of the road
• Select Drive
• Check the left mirror, signal to the left and check over the left shoulder
• Release the brake, don't give the vehicle any gas and steer all the way rapidly to the left
• As you go over the centre line begin to straighten out the wheels
• Stop near the curb
• Select reverse and activate your right signal
• Do a safety scan, check for traffic and look over your right shoulder - release the brake when the way is clear and steer rapidly to the right
• When your reach the centre of the road, look over your left shoulder, straighten out the wheel and stop the vehicle near the curb (you are looking over your left shoulder because the rear left tire is the first to the curb - the rear tires are just behind the back seat)
• Select drive, signal left, do a safety scan (left, centre, right) to ensure it is clear to pull out and drive away
- Look into your intended path
- Accelerate
- Steer the vehicle
Good luck on your road test!

In the presence of Her Majesty the Queen and other senior members of the Royal Family, Fergal Keane presents live coverage from Westminster Abbey in London of a service of celebration for Commonwealth Day.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex joined the Queen for a Westminster Abbey service to mark Commonwealth Day.
The royals and senior figures from national life marked the 70th anniversary of the modern Commonwealth.
The theme of this year's event was A Connected Commonwealth, with member countries being urged to protect natural resources and the environment.
In her message, the Queen said the Commonwealth vision inspires us to find ways of protecting our planet.
Earlier Prince Harry and Meghan visited the Canadian embassy as part of Commonwealth Day celebrations.
The multicultural, multi-faith event at Westminster Abbey saw performances and readings from representatives from throughout the Commonwealth.
Grammy-winning group, Clean Bandit were the first to perform, followed by performances of North Indian dhol drumming, and a solo by an Australian aboriginal musician on a didgeridoo.
The Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall and the Duke of York also attended the service.
The Prime Minister Theresa May was in the 2,000-strong congregation, as well as Commonwealth Secretary-General Baroness Scotland, high commissioners, ambassadors, faith leaders, plus more than 800 schoolchildren and young people.
Cold-water swimmer, Lewis Pugh spoke at the ceremony to appeal for greater efforts to restore the health of the oceans.
Earlier, Prince Harry and Meghan kicked off the celebrations at an event at Canada House, to showcase Canadian talent in the UK.
The couple were welcomed to the embassy by Canada's High Commissioner to the UK, Janice Charette.
In her Commonwealth message, the Queen said the Commonwealth vision offers hope, and inspires us to find ways of protecting our planet, and our people.
We are able to look to the future with greater confidence and optimism as a result of the links that we share, and thanks to the networks of co-operation and mutual support to which we contribute, and on which we draw.
With enduring commitment through times of great change, successive generations have demonstrated that whilst the goodwill for which the Commonwealth is renowned may be intangible, its impact is very real.
The Queen famously dedicated herself to the empire, which later became the Commonwealth, on her 21st birthday in 1947.
The then Princess Elizabeth said: I declare before you all that my whole life, whether it be long or short, shall be devoted to your service and the service of our great imperial family, to which we all belong.
