Hokkaido Museum（Introduction）

After lunch at the Prince Hotel, we walked to the Botanic Gardens, which is run by Hokkaido University, including the Ainu Centre, with interesting displays about the Northern indigenous people. Across the road from there was the old Hokkaido Government Office Building, known as Akarenga, which means “red brick.”

来館者がウェルカムモニターに目をやるはほんの数秒であると考え、どこで切っても興味を引くようにテンポよく場面を切り替える視覚的な面白さ、かっ こよさを重視しました。各カットはそれぞれ絵になり目を引くものを選んだつもりです。展示カテゴリや色彩に偏りが出ないようにも配慮しました。「なにやら 面白いものがたくさんありそうだな」と思っていただくことができれば成功かなと思っています。 作業するうえではBGMなしでテンポの良さを表現すること に少し手間取りました。部分部分で見ても面白いよう配慮する一方で、全体を通しても飽きがこないように緩急をつけられたと思います。音楽的な映像を心がけ ました。細かいカットでは手振れを入れたかったので、三脚も使わず静画も使いませんでした。「ロゴを使った遊びを入れる」「テ
ンポよく細かいカットを切り替えていく」「マチカネワニ骨格を移動しながら撮る」「部屋をぐるりと見回しながらフェードで別の部屋に切り替えていく」。今見直すと細かい修正をしたくなる点もありますが、概ね狙い通りのものができたと思います。
イチオシは開始時に左奥のほうに飛び去ってゆく鳥と、マチカネワニです。

Historic Village of Hokkaido, Japan: Tour of Kaitaku no Mura
Please excuse my heavy breathing. I had a slight cold, was wearing a mask, and it was a bit chilly outside. I don't have the tools to filter out my breathing sounds without also filtering out the tour guide.
Kaitaku no Mura (開拓の村, Historical Village) is an open-air museum in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. It gives a picture of what towns in Hokkaido used to look like. Some of the buildings seem to date back to the Meiji era (late 1800s), but based on the electric lighting and other things I found (like an old film projector), I'm guessing the town represents the Showa period (1920s-80s). I haven't had time to verify this myself yet.

ROAD TO 7.26 Hokkaido University Museum Renewal Opening Preparation（Gamma Abdul Jabbar）
Purpose of the video
The purpose of the video is to commemorate the museum`s renewal opening preparation. Although not all moment is recorded, but at least there are some memories about the preparation that can be transferred to others.
Features of the video
The video features people working on the preparation, spot in the museum that is being prepared, and some prepared specimens.
The struggle
The videos were taken almost a month before the renewal opening. I took the video with Fujita Sensei`s guidance. It was very helpful because I could get so many suggestion how to get the better video. It was very confusing at the beginning because there were so many good spots and moments to be shot, but I had to fit the video into only one minute long. The problem became even more bigger when I started editing the video because I had to select so much lengthy videos to fit into just one minute. However, all of this confuse was equal to my video result.

Hi! This is a clip about my Student Exchange Program at Hokusei Gakuen University in Sapporo during the past Spring Semester. I thank my home university, Maranatha Christian University, for giving me this wonderful opportunity! Hope you enjoyed it! :)

Sapporo is located in the northern part of Japan in the prefecture of Hokkaido.
With a population of over 2 million, Sapporo has more than enough to satisfy its residents and tourists. Since hosting the Winter Olympics in 1972, it has blossomed into a busy and robust city.
In the winters, the cold air from Siberia help to make it one of the premier destinations for winter sport enthusiasts. The powder snow is considered to be the finest in the world for those who like skiing and snowboarding.
The summers are mild and comfortable compared to the intense heat of the southern islands thus is the perfect place for a marathon during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Japan Travel: Wandering through the Flowers at the Hokkaido University Botanic Garden, Hokkaido27 Moopon
Opened in 1886, the Botanic Gardens in Sapporo, Hokkaido, is the oldest in Japan. The operation of the Botanic Gardens is conducted by the Hokkaido University. The Botanic Garden preserved a small part of the forest which previously covered the Ishikari Plain. In addition to the forest, there is a greenhouse and an alpine garden. Four thousand types of plants can be found here. There are small museums on the grounds as well.
Though the primary purposes of the gardens are for scientific and educational reasons, the gardens are opened to the public to wander around the beautiful plant life. The garden has walkways and lawns. It is possible to have picnics here as well, though alcohol is not allowed. Also, the gardens are closed in the winter.
Facility Information:
Hours: 9:00 to 16:30 (until 16:00 from October to early November)
Last entry is 30 minutes before closing time.
Closed: from November 4th to April 28th as well as on Mondays (or the following day if Monday is a national holiday)
Admission: 400 yen (until March 31, 2015)
420 yen (from April 1, 2015)
