Reykjavik Iceland, 3 Cabins and 5 Acres Of Private Land By A Secret Lake In The Capital City.
This is an unique opportunity to invest in a beautiful land in Reykjavik, the capital city of Iceland.
Land:
The land is 5 acres (2 hectares or 20.000 square meters) and has beautiful views over the raw nature. The land is surrounded by the mountains: Blafjoll, Hengill, Ulfarsfell, Hafrafell and more. There is a lake in front of the land which you can fish in. This land is very well located in Reykjavik and only 10 - 14 minute drive to the city centre. On the land is a private water well which is 100 meters deep in to the ground and provides you large amounts of the probably the best water you can ever taste. The wildlife is very interesting and has many birds for example: owls, falcons, merlins, ptarmigans, swans, sparrows, snipes and many other kinds which you can see out the living room window. There is some fish in the lake which is mostly trout. In rare cases there is a possibility to see some foxes. Around the land are many walking paths through the beautiful nature. The trees on the land give you great privacy from a private road shared with only a few other houses. The location is perfect to view the beautiful northern lights.
Houses:
The main house is 50 square meters and has a nice bathroom with a window, large shower, sink, toilette and a washing machine. The bedroom is with wooden floor and has one double bed and a double wardrobe and windows in two directions. The living room is with wooden floor and has large windows to all directions with breathtaking views over the nature and the lake. In the living room is an open kitchen with a large sink, refrigerator, oven, and spam hob. Nice sofa and tv area and a nice dining table as well. around 120 meters away from the house are two 14.9 square meters guest houses. They are prefect for up to two persons to stay in and are supplied with a small kitchen and a small bathroom with a shower sink and a toilette.
This is a very rare land in the capital city of Iceland and can be kept as a raw nature or a possible place for some construction.

Reykjavik Food Lovers Tour - Traditional Icelandic Food
REYKJAVIK FOOD LOVERS TOUR – TRADITIONAL ICELANDIC FOOD
Treat your taste buds to the tastiest tour in Iceland.
They say that sharing a meal is the best way to get to know each other, we think our Reykjavik Food Lovers Tour with at least 6 foodie stops is even better!
Our stops include the oldest restaurant in Reykjavik, a legendary hot dog stand, our favorite food market and one of the top restaurants in Iceland.
If you’re a food lover, then a casual stroll around Reykjavik, sampling traditional dishes from some of our favorite spots, is going to be your little slice of heaven.
Our Reykjavik Food Lovers Tour samples at least 15 different Icelandic dishes; both traditional classics and modern favorites. We know all the best spots to get the famous Icelandic lamb soup (just like mamma makes it), Skyr (a type of yogurt) and delicious lobster soup. You can even try some fermented shark if you dare.
Keep warm with a belly full of good food!
Icelandic food isn’t well known by the rest of the world, but we’re hoping to change that. We have long, dark winters where we spend a lot of time indoors, and we have an abundance of fresh meat, fish and dairy, so we’ve kinda perfected this whole ‘cooking’ business.
You’ll learn what the Vikings ate and how Icelandic people have survived harsh winters thanks to our special cooking and preserving methods.
The tour runs every Saturday and Sunday from 1 pm – 4:00 pm and on some weekdays at 5 pm and we’ll walk around 2.5km, making plenty of stops along the way. With no more than 12 people on a tour, you’ll be able to ask any questions about Icelandic food and culture, plus make a few new friends. And, you certainly won’t leave feeling hungry!
Bon appetite! Or, as we say in Iceland ”Verði þér að góðu.”
The Reykjavik Food tour is available for private groups upon request. Get in touch to discuss: yfir@yourfriendinreykjavik.com

WHAT IS ICELAND LIKE IN SUMMER? ????????????? Travel vlog
Planning a trip to Iceland and wondering when to visit? Winter vs Summer? Which one to choose...
We've been here during both seasons and the weather, excursions, and landscapes can change drastically. During the month we visited, we saw rainbows ????, wildlife ????, flowers ????, midnight sun☀️, and great road trip driving conditions.
Our first visit to Iceland was in winter, and we revisit in summer to get a completely different perspective of the country.
Some sights are almost unrecognizable in summer. We visit Sólheimajökull glacier - which is covered in bright green moss instead of snow and ice. We see the running springs from the glacier's melting ice.
Next, we visit Reykjavik where we enjoy the midnight sun and walk around the colorful streets for Reykjavik Pride week. We spot the rainbow sidewalk and multicolored buildings. We eat traditional Icelandic food at Icelandic Street Food where we order the lamb soup. Lastly, we watch the light show at the Harpa!

Iceland Travel in July | Reykjavik and surrounding - PART 1
Iceland was on my bucket list for years! Reykjavik was the most popular and populated city there! There are only 360,000 people there TOTAL as of 2019!The days never ended in the summer so we only got a few hours of sleep each night. Daylight just felt like we should be out and about. After Reykjavik, we drove about 5 hours east to stay at hotel and see waterfall, stream and so much beauty!

BLUE LAGOON - Top locations in Iceland
Book here:
Find out more:
The Blue Lagoon is one of Iceland’s biggest, most iconic attractions, drawing guests from across the world with its azure waters, healing silica mud and opportunities for deep relaxation.
Surrounded by the volcanic fields of the Reykjanes Peninsula, this spa utilizes the natural, geothermal energy that makes Iceland famous, appearing as a natural oasis amidst the harsh, black rock.
Situated approximately fifteen minutes from Keflavik International Airport and thirty minutes from the Icelandic capital, Reykjavik, many travellers choose to visit the lagoon on either their arrival or departure days. Be warned, however; the Blue Lagoon is so popular that it is imperative to book your ticket in advance of your arrival.
Amongst the Blue Lagoon’s amenities, guests can enjoy a number of massages and spa treatments, including a silica mud face mask, saunas and steam rooms and the establishment’s very own Bistro and cafe.
Don’t miss your opportunity to visit the Blue Lagoon on your trip to Iceland.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started traveling full-time January 10, 2016. While daily vlogging was not the original plan, we were having way too many cool experiences not to share every single day! Now travel vlogging is our full-time gig and we feel like we have the greatest job in the world! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)
We’ve pulled inspiration from several of our favorite travel vloggers on YouTube, such as: +CaseyNeistat +FunForLouis +Jon Olsson +Mr Ben Brown , and any other talented travel vloggers that YouTube’s algorithm will hopefully connect us with ;)
