25 Best Things To Do in Seoul, South Korea
Check out my Seoul travel guide and tips at this link: - All my personal Seoul travel tips and suggestions!
Seoul, South Korea, is truly an amazing city to visit! It's modern, easy to navigate and there's little something everyone will enjoy. The Seoul subway system makes it easy to get around town and discover exactly what the giant city has to offer.
Surrounded by Japan and China, Seoul and South Korea sometimes doesn't get all the attention is deserves . Korea is home to a unique culture, cuisine and a fascinating history. If you ever have the chance to visit Seoul, you'll have a great time!
I traveled to Seoul Korea and was able to do all kinds of things, but I've narrowed this list down to twenty five of the best things to do in Seoul - of course there are other things as well but this list is just the beginning and intended to get your ideas and travel imagination flowing!
Anyway, on to the top Seoul attractions, here's the list in case you can't see the video:
1. Gyeongbukgung Palace
2. Bukchon Hanok Village
3. Jogyesa Buddhist Temple
4. Suwon's Hwaseong Fortress
5. War Memorial and Museum
6. N Seoul Tower
7. Myeongdong Shopping
8. Insadong
9. Namdaemun Market
10. Dongdaemun
11. International Itaewon
12. Hongdae (Hongik University)
13. Lotte Mart
14. Lotte World
15. Seoul Children's Park
16. Han River Walking / Riding
17. Walk along the Cheonggyecheon Stream
18. Hike in Seoul
19. Gwangjang Market
20. Noryangjin Fish Market
21. Garak Wholesale Food Market
22. Korean Street Food
23. Ice Cream Selections
24. Coffee at a Coffee Shop
25. Korean Barbecue
I stayed in South Korea for just over 2 weeks and was able to complete this entire list of things to do in Seoul.
However, even though there are so many places to see and go, probably my favorite of all is eating and sampling delicious Korean food! Korean food is so good and there are so many restaurants everywhere you look in Seoul that it can truly be considered a foodie's paradise.
If you get a chance to visit Seoul I hope your'e able to do all these wonderful things while you're there!
Anything else you love about Seoul that's not on this list? Please feel free to leave a comment below and let me know!

Camping in Korea - Gangwon province
※ This video includes the actual things we can enjoy on this camping tour.
※ Please visit my facebook page if you want to make a reservation for this tour.
• My camping tour
1) This tour is open to everyone who is tired of city life. Let's go to the nature to relax. You will be healed, and you will find yourself.
2) My goal is to give my customers a real experience. Ride a bike, feel the Korean nature, lie down and read a book in a Korean National Park, have Samgyeopsal (pork belly) and Makgeolli (rice wine) with me in a mountain, and rest in a Korean hot spring.
3) This tour is for people who are tired of big group tours. It is true that you can save money if you travel with many people, but I am not sure if the quality will be good. If you have experienced packaged tours before, you would know what I mean. You normally should follow a schedule which is made by a tour company, which can include enjoying the tourist attractions in only a short time, and going to shopping centers, even if you don't want to go. Well, I always prefer a small group because I know it will be more comfortable for you.
• Advantages of camping in Korea
1) South Korea consists of mountainous areas, covering more than 70% of the country, and there are approximately 3,200 islands. Also, accessibility to mountains and islands is good because transportation infrastructure is well constructed.
2) South Korea's security has been ranked as the best in the world. You don't need to be worried during camping anymore.
3) Because South Korea is small, it can be an advantage for camping. We can combine a variety of activities into camping because we can easily go anywhere.

DMZ Tour in Seoul Korea - A QUICK Adventure!
Sorry for the time off away from Youtube. I’ve been very busy with a lot happening over the last year. Hopefully, I’ll be trying to upload more regularly from this video.
In continuing from my trip to Seoul, South Korea, we go on a tour to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) on the South Korean side. Along the demarcation line between North Korea and South Korea, our tour takes us to these stops:
1. The Bridge of Freedom
2. The Third Infiltration Tunnel
3. Dora Observatory
4. Dorasan Station
Finally, another DMZ tour to consider is to add on a visit to the Joint Security Area (JSA) where the iconic blue buildings are. Diplomatic meetings and negotiations between South Korea and North Korea are held here and you are able to enter the buildings to take a look. Just make sure you follow all instructions and don’t walk through the blue door through to North Korea.

Nami Island is a half-moon shaped island located in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, South Korea, formed as the land around it was inundated by the rising water of the North Han River as the result of the construction of Cheongpyeong Dam in 1944.
N Seoul Tower, officially the YTN Seoul Tower and commonly known as the Namsan Tower or Seoul Tower, is a communication and observation tower located on Namsan Mountain in central Seoul, South Korea. At 236 metres, it marks the second highest point in Seoul.

Korea's 69th Armed Forces Day ceremony
ARIRANG SPECIAL
Hello and welcome to this special edition of Arirang News.
Live from Seoul, I’m Shin Se-min.
It's a little before 10AM on Thursday, September 28th,.. and we're breaking away from our usual news lineup at around this time,.. to bring you live coverage of Korea's 69th Armed Forces Day ceremony.
The South Korea military will be putting some of its strategic weapons on display-- to show off its strong national defense power and deterrence capability,.. and,.. also in part to honor the men and women who've served the country both past and present.
This year's ceremony comes four-days prior to the annual anniversary,.. set on the first day of October,.. as that day falls in the middle of Korea's 10-day Chuseok holiday.
This year’s event is garnering extra attention as it comes at a critical point for inter-Korean relations,.. especially at a time when the security situation on the Korean Peninsula is particularly tense, with the U.S. and North Korea exchanging aggressive words for weeks now.
We will walk you through some of the issues surrounding the Korean Peninsula during the event,.. so be sure to stay with us till the end.
In a short while, we'll go live to the headquarters of the Navy's Second Fleet in Pyeongtaek, (some 70 kilometers south of Seoul) where the event will be held.
But before that, I want to bring in professor Kim Young-jun from Korea National Defense University,.. to help us better understand today’s event.

10 Differences Between North Korea And South Korea

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Although North Korea and South Korea are neighboring states, life in these two regions are far from being the same. North Korea’s residents are left in the dark about everything, from what’s really going on in the rest of the world to the dire state of their own lives.
