Minty's father Harold Jewett stops by for a visit in the beginning of his film. Next is Bob and the 1953 Flood that came to downtown Bridgton, Maine. Lots of color film of the summer of '53 in Maine. The Parade footage is probably from July 4th, 1953. Near the end is The Gangs All Here on July 26, 1953 at Fran and Dick's Cabin on the lake in Bridgton, Maine. Are those the Ward kids on the lake with Bob?

Magic Lantern Theater Demolition

Footage from February 2007 on the day of demolition of the much loved Magic Lantern Theater in Bridgton Maine. Site was being made ready for the construction of the new Magic Lantern. The old building was past its prime with no way to save it due to unstable ground beneath it. For 75 years, this theater served the people of Bridgton as the Meserve, Mayfair, Brookside and Magic Lantern.

Ponniyin Selvan

Ponniyin Selvan (Tamil: பொன்னியின் செல்வன், English: The Son of Ponni) is a 2400-page 20th-century Tamil historical novel written by Kalki Krishnamurthy. Written in five volumes, this narrates the story of Arulmozhithevan (later crowned as Rajaraja Chola I), one of the kings of the Chola Dynasty during the 10th and 11th centuries. Kalki Krishnamurthy finished the novel after nearly a period of three years and six months of writing and he visited Sri Lanka three times to learn some information to write this novel.
