Mysterious Mines of Ronda, Spain - La Casa del Rey Moro, the Mines, and Moorish Gardens
We've already traveled to and explored the old Puente de Nuevo bridge of Ronda, Spain in a previous video of our Summer 2018 adventures, but there's still more to see in the beautiful and historic Ronda! Impressive enough that the city is built on 400 foot cliffs, but on the back-side of the city you can explore the inner tunnels of those cliffs from the entrance at Palacio del Rey Moro - said to be home to the Moorish king.
The gardens are beautiful and the tunnels impressive. Lots of history there, as the tunnels lead down to the water mine located on the waterline deep within the gorge.
Secret rooms, lots of stairs - dark, damp - it's old Spain at its best and one of Ronda's best attractions, aside from the famous bridge itself.
Jump on the adventure with us as we explore the Ronda mines and the gardens of this beautiful old Spanish city.
Enjoy! Subscribe to the Good Life.

Alhambra & Granada - The Moorish Wonder of Andalusia, Spain | 4K
This video is a walk to remember some incredible days from my honeymoon during summer 2018 when we reserved some days to visit the eternal and unbelievable Granada, situated in the Southern part of Spain, the province named Andalusia. This is the most picturesque area in Spain we visited during our tour through some emblematic sites of Iberia Peninsula: Madrid, Toledo, Cordoba, Granada, Malaga and Valencia.
The main part of this video is reserved to the incredible moorish architecture (islamic influence) that can be discovered in Alhambra, the eternal complex of palaces, fortresses and gardens. During the years this buildings complex has been considered to be one wonder of the world taking into consideration that some species of plants have been preserved for centuries.
I hope I can transpose to you to that place on Earth by watching my video.

A Walk Around The Generalife, The Alhambra, Granada, Spain
Of the outlying buildings connected to the Alhambra, the foremost in interest is the Palacio de Generalife or Gineralife (the Muslim Jennat al Arif, Garden of Arif, or Garden of the Architect). This villa dates from the beginning of the 14th century but has been restored several times. The Villa de los Martires (Martyrs' Villa), on the summit of Monte Mauror, commemorates by its name the Christian slaves who were forced to build the Alhambra and confined here in subterranean cells. The Torres Bermejas (Vermilion Towers), also on Monte Mauror, are a well-preserved Moorish fortification, with underground cisterns, stables, and accommodation for a garrison of 200 men. Several Roman tombs were discovered in 1829 and 1857 at the base of Monte Mauror.

GRANADA, MOORISH WALKING TOUR - Winter in Moorish Albaicín
How do we afford to travel so often? We're lucky enough to stay for almost free in every city, using
Albaicín - the old Moorish quarter of Granada. Full of winding alleys, cobbled paths and views from the various Miradors (or viewpoints) across the whole of Granada.
Starting with a climb up to the Mirador de San Cristóbal, we make our way to the vibrant Plaza Larga, full of cafes and restaurants.
We exit the Plaza through the majestic arch known as Arco de las Pesas and head downhill on Placeta de las Minas.

The Alhambra (Spain)- A World's Marvel
The Alhambra, the red fortress, is a palace and fortress complex located in Granada, Andalusia, Spain. It was constructed during the mid 14th century by the Moorish rulers of the Emirate of Granada in al-Andalus, occupying the top of the hill of the Assabica on the southeastern border of the city of Granada. The Alhambra's Moorish palaces were built for the last Muslim Emirs in Spain and its court, of the Nasrid dynasty. After the Reconquista (reconquest) by the Reyes Católicos (Catholic Monarchs) in 1492, some portions were used by the Christian rulers. The Palace of Charles V, built by Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor in 1527, was inserted in the Alhambra within the Nasrid fortifications. After being allowed to fall into disrepair for centuries, the Alhambra was discovered in the 19th century by European scholars and travelers, with restorations commencing. It is now one of Spain's major tourist attractions, exhibiting the country's most significant and well known Islamic architecture, together with 16th-century and later Christian building and garden interventions. The Alhambra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the inspiration for many songs and stories.
