Originated from the meeting of rivers and canals, Pak-klong has been the prime area of commuting and trading since the very beginning of Rattanakosin era. Pak-klong talad lies from Chakrapetch road along the river side by Maharaj road making it become the biggest flower market in Thailand and the 4th biggest one of the world. As it is famous for being a place filling with variety of fresh flowers, the floral museum was decided to be situated at the market’s entrance on Atsadang road. The main idea of the museum is to tell stories about flower-related activities in Thai culture. By using flowers’ fragrances to lead the way, visitors would learn differently and earn new architectural experiences.
Lastly, this museum project aims to help enhancing social value and further opportunities for Pak-klong community and dwellers.

In Sakul Intakul Floral Journey BEIJING, Sakul Intakul, internationally renown Thai floral artist, take you to Beijing to celebrate the Chinese New Year and Spring Festival in Beijing.
While searching for the Three Friends of Winter and learning of their auspicious meanings, we explore the beautiful and magnificent sites in Beijing.
In this episode, we visit Temple of Heaven and still found Pine Tree, one member of the auspicious Three Friends of Winter, which we had already found in Forbidden City in our first episode. We had not e luck to find the other two Friends of Winter there at Temple of Heaven. But, we still keep on searching for them throughout our Beijing series.
In this episode we also brought you to taste Peking Duck at Peking Chamber Restaurant which is a branch of SIJI MINFU Roast Duck Beijing Dish restaurant, which happened to taste very good.
BE WARNED--A NOTE TO TRAVELLERS WITH CASH: if you use cash to pay for your bill at this restaurant our any restaurants in China, please follow your waiter to pay at the cashier as we found that 4 out of 5 our real 100RMB bank notes were swapped with 4 fake bank notes. We ended up paid 900RMB out of our pocket for the food value 500RMB and we can not do anything as they said our money were fake!!! after they swapped the notes!!! This would not happen to the Chinese customers as they pay electronically. Just be careful!!!
Other than that, please enjoy Beijing and celebrate the Chinese New Year and Spring Festival with Sakul Intakul.
