LONDON, EXPLORING the CANAL BOAT FESTIVAL and SHOW at LITTLE VENICE ????
SUBSCRIBE: - Let's go for a walk and let's enjoy the very unique canal boat show and festival in the Little Venice area of the beautiful city of London, here in the United Kingdom...
Little Venice is a district in London, England, around the junction of the Paddington Arm of the Grand Union Canal and the Regent's Canal. Many of its buildings are Regency white painted stucco terraced town houses and taller blocks in the same style
London, the capital of England and the United Kingdom, is a 21st-century city with history stretching back to Roman times. At its centre stand the imposing Houses of Parliament, the iconic ‘Big Ben’ clock tower and Westminster Abbey, site of British monarch coronations. Across the Thames River, the London Eye observation wheel provides panoramic views of the South Bank cultural complex, and the entire city.

River Thames Boat Ride
The River Thames (TEMZ) is a river that flows through southern England. It is the longest river entirely in England and the second longest in the United Kingdom, after the River Severn. While it is best known for flowing through London, the river also flows alongside other towns and cities, including Oxford, Reading, Henley-on-Thames and Windsor. In an alternative name, derived from its long tidal reach up to Teddington Lock in south west London, the lower reaches of the river are called the Tideway. The section of the river running through Oxford is traditionally called the Isis.

We are Family - AFTERMOVIE 1st Anniversary BOAT PARTY with Leon
Getting established in a city like London has got its pros and cons, which is something we already knew when we first started. One thing we couldn't imagine is how strong is the spirit of the souls who live here.
Life goes on...and this is the biggest revenge the world can do against the evil.

TV Journalist Quits His Job to Live on a Tiny House Boat & Cruise UK Canals Full-Time
In this video, we meet David Johns, a former TV journalist from the UK who quit his job, sold his house, and bought a narrowboat to cruise the canal network. His plan was to try being a live aboard for a year. He’s been living aboard for 9 months so far and he’s still happy with his decision and loves being part of the friendly, helpful narrowboat community.
Watch this video to take a tour of David's narrowboat, learn how he earns an income as a freelance journalist, where he “parks” his boat, and about the joys & challenges of life afloat.
David has been documenting his journey living on a boat with a regular vlog on his YouTube channel: Cruising the Cut ( With his experience as a TV journalist, the videos are extremely well filmed and edited, and they're a real pleasure to watch.
We were excited when he sent us his interview footage because we learned so much about this alternative lifestyle that he’s trying out. We love the idea of living in a tiny house on the water and of being able to explore from the comfort of your own home (a lot like living in a van!).
Thanks for watching!

A Room for London: Andrew Bird plays Sounds from a Room (2012)
This video documents Andrew Bird playing Sounds from a Room in A Room for London, London, United Kingdom, 28 January 2012.
During 2012, Artangel invited 38 writers, musicians and artists from across the globe to compose, perform or imagine new work in A Room for London: a one-bedroom Heart of Darkness-influenced installation perched on a roof high above the River Thames.

British Patriotic Song: Rule Britannia!
Rule Britannia! - British Patriotic Song
Britannia was the original name given by the Romans to the province that comprised what is now England and Wales (neighboring Ireland was known as Hibernia, Scotland was Caledonia, Germany was Germania, Brittany was Armorica and France was just plain Gaul). After the Romans left, the name gradually fell into disuse, but later, in the days of the Empire, it came to represent the spirit of Britain, herself.
Since 1672, Britannia has been anthropomorphised into a woman wearing a helmet, and carrying a shield and trident. It is a symbol that blends the concepts of empire, militarism and economics.
The poem Rule Britannia by James Thomson (1700-48) was put to music by Thomas Augustine Arne (around 1740) and is sung as an unofficial national anthem.

Thames Party Boats - Hire a Thames Party Boat for A One of a Kind Celebration
So why would you book Thames charter boats?
We all know that London in the United Kingdom is among the finest cities for tourism and also taking in the sights. You could look at this city from totally different angles which is an exceptional appeal of this city. You will actually find two special possible choices which you could make use of to be able to view London. The first is an aerial point of view and the second possibility is to view it from the river. The 2nd selection is much more inexpensive and it is ideal for a wild social gathering along with your close friends as well as loved ones in this summer time. The river of Thames is definitely the largest sized one in the United Kingdom and also this is actually exactly where it is possible to rent Thames charter boats for taking advantage of your holidays.
What are all the many selections for the party boats around the Thames?
You will find so many boats that are offered for for parties and events on the river of Thames. You can hire party boats like classic, heritage, premier or elite boats. If you want an outrageous event or party then classic and heritage boats are highly advisable. These kinds of vessels are highly suitable for casual activities just like dance parties, watching regattas, and so on. Classic and heritage party boats are often quite low-cost to rent and these kinds of boats are actually incredibly safe for a trip in the river.
You may also get small boats, twelve-person tour boats to large boats for cruises when you've got a sizable spending budget. The larger party boats available feature various high-end qualities just like a hotel, dance floor, sleeping rooms, dining facilities, etc. In addition , you have the opportunity to listen to the history of the River of Thames by experienced tour guides on the tour. Many of the most famous as well as heritage places in the London city are actually found along the river of Thames. For this reason , party boats on hire in the Thames River can certainly provide us with a unique opportunity of historical sightseeing as well.

United Kingdom Special Forces | Britain's Best
The United Kingdom Special Forces (UKSF) is a Ministry of Defence directorate that provides a joint special operations task force headquarters. Director Special Forces appears to command 22 Special Air Service Regiment, the Special Boat Service, the Special Reconnaissance Regiment, the Special Forces Support Group, 18 Signal Regiment and the Joint Special Forces Aviation Wing.
In 1987 the post of Director SAS became Director Special Forces.
The incumbent from that point had control of both the Army's Special Air Service and the Naval Service's Special Boat Squadron, which was renamed the Special Boat Service during the formation, into a unified command. The directorate has been expanded by the creation of the Joint Special Forces Aviation Wing, the Special Reconnaissance Regiment, 18 Signal Regiment and the Special Forces Support Group. Approximately 40% of all UK Special Forces are recruited from the Royal Marines.
Following the Army 2020 reforms, the 21st Special Air Service Regiment and 23rd Special Air Service Regiment were moved from DSF's command to 1st Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Brigade in 2014.

From London Apartment to Living on a Boat Full Time - Minimalist Life
Anna and Kath are a UK couple who work full time in London. In 2016 they downsized their life from a 1-bedroom apartment down to a narrow boat which they live and travel on, full-time, with their 2 cats, Munchkin and Alice.
When their boat is moored, they have access to water and electricity; and when they're cruising the canals of England and the UK, they have solar panels to trickle charge their batteries and keep things like the fridge and TV running.
They have a multi-fuel stove for heat, and an extra radiator in the bedroom although they rarely use it because the stove heats the tiny house so well.
They have a 500 litre water tank for their freshwater needs and are hoping to invest in a composting toilet so they don't have to use chemicals in their current cassette toilet.
Anna and Kath have found that they get to spend more time together, and they spend less money now that they've adopted a simpler, more minimalist lifestyle.
They still work full-time in London but are working to transition to a digital nomad situation with revenue from their YouTube channel, The Narrowboat Experience, by selling Annamarie's paintings, and with support on Patreon. We've included their links below if you'd like to support them:
