We cleared Cambodian-Thai border with ease.
Didnt expect to get hold of the signboard The Narrowest Part of Thailand
After Cambodia's horrible roads, suddenly Thai roads feel so nice and smooth. And we were normalised to the right hand drive road again.
We reached Pattaya City exactly at midnite. Chose a nice spot by the light house to set up hammock and camp for the night.
Woke up to a beautiful place and had to make my flight to capture the Pattaya sign by air.

Chaloem Rattanakosin National Park Thailand
A visit to the Chaloem Rattanakosin National Park in Kachanaburi This is Kanchanburi's smallest national park covering an area of 59 km2and was designated in February 1980. The forested, limestone mountains of the park are the watershed of the Mae Nam Mae Klong and the highest peak is the 1,260 m Khao Kam Paeng. The park is located 18 km from Ban Nong Pru which is on the H3086. You will be charged the full 200 baht foreigner price for entry (20 baht for Thais). The national park is included in most guidebooks, though the cave descriptions are not very accurate. The caves have been surveyed and described in Deharveng (1986).

This through cave is near the park headquarters buildings. You enter the resurgence entrance and follow the river passage to the sink entrance. The passage is about 10 to 15 m wide and 5 m high. The survey in Deharveng (1986) shows unexplored high level passages near the upper entrance. A path has been constructed through the cave and there is electric lighting. The electric lights are turned off at 16:00. A Cave Racer snake was seen along with at least two species of bats.

From the upstream entrance to Tham Than Lot Noi a path follows the river for about 1.5 km to a waterfall. A series of wooden steps and handrails have been constructed to help the ascent of the tiered waterfall. At the top the river is followed for about 200 m to Tham Than Lot Yai. This cave is a very large natural arch, the cliff being 60 m high and the hole 20 m high. Archaeological remains have been found under the arch

Maeklong Railway Market - Train Runs Through Open Air Market in Thailand
Travel 30 miles Southwest of Bangkok, Thailand to the world famous Maeklong Railway Market in Samut Songkhram, Thailand.
The market is like most open air markets of Asia except it operates on active railroad tracks. Each time the train comes to town, the market must fold back and wait until the train departs before setting shop back up again.
In this video you'll see the passenger train weave through the market to arrive at Maeklong Station and depart in a quick turnaround amongst a crowd of mostly tourist.
After seeing this place in person, I think it's safe to say you'll find a picture of this train on nearly everyone's cellphone that has visited Thailand!

The most famous market in Hat Yai is the Kim Yong market.
Kim Yong Market is a local market in the center of Hat Yai city. It is famous for it's imported snacks from Malaysia and Singapore. A lot of the imported snacks, like potato chips, are cheaper here then in the rest of Thailand.The market itself has many small stalls nestled on narrow alleyways. Here you can buy anything from clothes, fruit, snacks, nuts, food, fresh flowers and even make-up, perfume and more.

Wongwian Yai -- State Railway of Thailand -- Mae Klong Railway
Wongwian Yai, also spelled Wong Wian Yai or Wongwien Yai (Thai: วงเวียนใหญ่),
Is the Bangkok terminus of the Mae Klong Railway that runs from Bangkok to Samut Sakon (Mahachai) and Samut Songkhram (Mae Khlong).
Although Wongwian Yai is just off the centre of Bangkok in a busy inner-city built up area, it has the look and feel of a small friendly country village station. And there is a real live village idiot performing in the closing clip of this video.
Trains more or less leave on an hourly basis, passing slowly thru small towns and stations until reach the bustling port of Samut Sakon สมุทรสาคร at Mahachai station. Where you then get off to walk thru a huge vibrant fish market to catch a ferry to cross the Tha Chin River แม่น้ำท่าจีน to continue your journey to Samut Songkhram สมุทรสงคราม.
The railway became famous for its route through the Maeklong Railway Market, nicknamed Talad Rom Hoop, meaning the 'Umbrella Pulldown Market'.

Here you can buy anything from clothes, fruit, snacks, nuts, food, fresh flowers and even make-up, perfume and more.
There are a few markets in Hatyai; located sporadically all around the Hat Yai town but the ones well known to tourists would be the Kim Yong and the Suntisook Market The market is always pack with people by as early as 6.30AM (local time). Tuk-tuks, vans, bikes, people..they are just squeezing their way into and out of the market. On both sides of the road, you’ll be greeted with a parade of stalls selling all sorts of stuffs ranging from fruits to vegetables, dried raw ingredients to cooked local delicacies, fresh flowers to edible flowers! So much for your eyes and your stomach to feast on!
Food sold here are cheap. It can go as low as THB10 and as high as you can purchase. Fruits here are actually quite good – big and not too pricey (depending on your bargaining skills). Of course, knowing how you stick out as a tourist, the locals will tend to charge you higher for the non-cooked products such as fruits, flowers, vegetables and dried materials (dried chili, dried shrimps, spices, etc). Begin your way around!
