Golfing & Exploring Mississippi
Recently, GoGolfandTravel.com visited four of the more than 100 golf courses in the State of Mississippi. The first two were located at the Pearl River Resort near Philadelphia called Dancing Rabbit, The Azalea and The Oaks, designed by Tom Fazio and Jerry Pate. The third course was Quail Hollow, an Arthur Hills designed course, near McComb (about an hour and 15 minutes south of Jackson) in the Percy Quin State Park. Our final course was the Country Club of Jackson where the annual Sanderson PGA Tournament is played. This was not your usual round of golf as it was the Heritage Pro-Am for the PGA tournament. Our pro was Charles Howell III. Of course, we had the opportunity to check out a few restaurants and places we think our GoGolfandTravel.com readers will enjoy when visiting the area.

Power Line Hazard Tree Removal, Pass Christian, MS
Taylor Tree Co. is removing two large pine trees that have branches in the power lines.
A Live Oak was set on fire at this Long Beach, MS complex. Our crew is removing it with Chainsaw and Bobcat.
Tree removal is a highly technical, yet delicate, task and requires highly qualified professionals. Taylor Tree Co. tree removal assessment covers the health, liability, and aesthetics and enable competing species to develop and mature. In certain instances, you may have to remove a tree that is alive if it is interfering with other trees, buildings, driveways, or utility wires.
Tree removal in most urban and suburban landscapes presents a challenge. Trees in neighborhoods often are surrounded by other valuable plantings or structures. Tree removals, especially for large trees, require careful dismantling by highly trained personnel utilizing state-of-the-art machinery to ensure your safety and the protection of your home and property. The use of specialized equipment during tree removals is determined by the conditions on your landscape, branch architecture, and the soundness of your tree.
A standard tree removal includes taking down a tree, cutting all wood into logs, and removing the stumps deep into the ground to the root system, thus grinding it out. Wood can be stacked where you wish, or we can remove it with the debris from the tree at your request. When we leave, there is subtle evidence that a tree was even there. We fill and level where the tree(s) once stood.
