Auburn Mall (MA) - Raw & Real Retail
This is our walkthrough of the Auburn Mall in Auburn, MA from January 2, 2019. This is a rather bland Simon Property Group managed mall with all the usual touches of Simonized properties such as the removal of all color and character from a mall (see the colorful 90s entrance in the thumbnail vs. the uninviting plain entrance in the beginning of the video), overuse of the eggshell white color palette, and overall antiseptic aesthetic. The one good feature about the mall is its unique arched ceiling. Otherwise, it is about a half hour's drive from the sprawling Natick Mall, which could explain the sleepy feeling when walking around this mall.
Special thanks go to Caldor for the thumbnail image of the original entrance before Simon ruined it. Do check out his article on it on the fantastic labelscar website:

Here is a very brief history from Wikipedia:
The Auburn Mall, managed by Simon Property Group, which owns 56.1% of it, is an enclosed shopping mall located on Route 12 in Auburn, Massachusetts, United States, near the intersection of the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) and I-290/I-395.
The mall features Macy's, and Sears as anchors. Reliant Medical Group will open its Auburn campus in the mall's third anchor space in the spring of 2018.
The mall was originally built in 1971 and featured Denholm's and Sears as anchors. Denholm's was converted to Forbes & Wallace, and later to The Outlet, a Providence, Rhode Island-based department store chain. The Outlet store closed in the 1980s and was replaced with Caldor.
The mall underwent a significant renovation in 1997 which added Filene's as a third anchor. Caldor closed in 1999 and was converted to a Filene's home store. In 2006, the two Filene's stores in the mall were both converted to Macy's.
In October 2015, the mall unveiled plans to add a 10-screen cinema and restaurant in the space occupied by Macy's Home Store. By April 2016, those plans were approved. However, in November 2016, the mall abandoned previous plans and proposed a new medical center for the Macy's Home Store space. On June 16, 2017, the mall announced that Reliant Medical Group will open in the space formerly occupied by Macy's Home Store in 2019.

Date of sighting: December 02, 2014
Location of sighting: Vancouver, Washington, USA
Eyewitness states: A family member of mine knew I am in this field of research and caught some strange lights that he could not explain with his cell phone. He is ex-military and I would consider him a sound individual with good discernment. The anomalies in the video were recorded December 2nd in the evening approximately at 18:00 in Vancouver, WA near the Westfield Shopping Center. There were 4 lights that went from dim to super bright lights just hanging in the sky for 10 minutes or so and then just kind of flew off. He did not record the whole observation, rather just 2 and a half minutes of the occurrence. He thought that one of the lights could have been an airplane, but the path it took was kind of odd for an airplane not to mentions they seemed way to close together. The lights/objects were East of where he was standing. They didn't appear to be too far away, if he had to guess he would say about 5-10 miles out. They were way too low to the ground to be any type of commercial airliner in his opinion. They all seem to be hovering until the top one (shown in the video) started moving to the North/Northwest.

SUMMARY
=======
Washington ( (listen)), officially the State of Washington, is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. Named for George Washington, the first president of the United States, the state was made out of the western part of the Washington Territory, which was ceded by Britain in 1846 in accordance with the Oregon Treaty in the settlement of the Oregon boundary dispute. It was admitted to the Union as the 42nd state in 1889. Olympia is the state capital; the state's largest city is Seattle. Washington is sometimes referred to as Washington State, to distinguish it from Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States, which is often shortened to Washington or just D.C.
Washington is the 18th largest state, with an area of 71,362 square miles (184,827 km2), and the 13th most populous state, with more than 7.4 million people. Approximately 60 percent of Washington's residents live in the Seattle metropolitan area, the center of transportation, business, and industry along Puget Sound, an inlet of the Pacific Ocean consisting of numerous islands, deep fjords, and bays carved out by glaciers. The remainder of the state consists of: deep temperate rainforests in the west; mountain ranges in the west, central, northeast, and far southeast; and a semi-arid basin region in the east, central, and south, given over to intensive agriculture. Washington is the second most populous state on the West Coast and in the Western United States, after California. Mount Rainier, an active stratovolcano, is the state's highest elevation, at almost 14,411 feet (4,392 meters), and is the most topographically prominent mountain in the contiguous United States.
Washington is a leading lumber producer. Its rugged surface is rich in stands of Douglas fir, hemlock, ponderosa pine, white pine, spruce, larch, and cedar. The state is the biggest producer of apples, hops, pears, red raspberries, spearmint oil, and sweet cherries, and ranks high in the production of apricots, asparagus, dry edible peas, grapes, lentils, peppermint oil, and potatoes. Livestock and livestock products make important contributions to total farm revenue, and the commercial fishing of salmon, halibut, and bottomfish makes a significant contribution to the state's economy. Washington ranks second only to California in the production of wine.
Manufacturing industries in Washington include aircraft and missiles, ship-building, and other transportation equipment, lumber, food processing, metals and metal products, chemicals, and machinery. Washington has over 1,000 dams, including the Grand Coulee Dam, built for a variety of purposes, including irrigation, power, flood control, and water storage.
Washington is one of the wealthiest and most liberally progressive states in the country. The state consistently ranks among the best for life expectancy, low unemployment, and degrees of freedom for minorities. Along with Colorado, Washington was one of the first to legalize medicinal and recreational cannabis, was among the first thirty-six states to legalize same-sex marriage, doing so in 2012, and was one of only four U.S. states to have been providing legal abortions on request before the 1973 Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade loosened federal abortion laws. Similarly, Washington voters approved a 2008 referendum on legalization of physician-assisted suicide, and is currently only one of five states, along with Oregon, California, Colorado and Vermont, as well as the District of Columbia to have legalized the practice. The state is also one of eight in the country to have criminalized the sale, possession and transfer of bump stocks, with California, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Maryland, and Massachusetts also having banned these devices.

Costco's worldwide headquarters are in Issaquah, Washington, USA, and the company opened its first warehouse in 1983 in Seattle. Through mergers, Costco's overall corporate history dates back to 1976, when its former competitor Price Club was founded in San Diego, California.[8][9][10]
As of 11 November 2015, Costco has a total of 674 warehouses, spread throughout the United States (474), Canada (89), United Kingdom (26), Australia (8), Mexico (34), Taiwan (10), South Korea (12), Japan (20), and Spain (2).[1] [11]
