The Arcade in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
The following information was taken from Wikepedia.
The Arcade in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, United States, is a covered shopping arcade built in 1902 and modeled after an arcade in Italy.
Developed by David C. Buntin and designed by the Edgefield and Nashville Manufacturing Company, the Arcade opened as Nashville's first shopping center, replacing the former Overton Alley. Located between Fourth and Fifth avenues, the entrances consist of identical Palladian facades.
Notable tenants include Phillyman where you can enjoy an authentic Philly Cheese Steak, original New York-style pizza at Manny's House of Pizza, Smallbucks Coffee, The Peanut Shop candy store and the Uptown Branch of the United States Postal Service, featuring an Art Deco facade.
The first Saturday of each month draws crowds for Art at the Arcade, a gallery crawl sponsored by the art galleries on the second floor.

Taste of Goo Goo Chocolate Class | Fun Things to Do in Nashville
Did you know the Goo Goo was the first combination candy bar ever produced? Yep, it was made in 1912 and was called a Goo Goo so even a baby can ask for it at birth! haha
We went to the Goo Goo store in Nashville, Tennessee to make our own personal Goo Goo clusters. After we made our Goo Goos, we made peanut butter icing (their special recipe!) to go on brownies. Yum!

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are a milk chocolate cup confection made of chocolate-coated peanut butter marketed by The Hershey Company that pioneered the way to the generic peanut butter cup. They were created in 1928 by H. B. Reese, a former dairy farmer and shipping foreman for Milton S. Hershey. Reese was inspired by Hershey and left dairy farming to start his own candy business.
The H.B. Reese Candy Company
The Harry Burnett Reese Candy Co. was established in the basement of Reese's house in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Reese had originally worked at a Hershey dairy farm, and from the start he used Hershey Chocolate in his confections. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups were his most popular candy, and Reese eventually discontinued his other lines.
Reese died on May 16, 1956, passing the company to his six sons, Robert, John, Ed, Ralph, Harry, and Charles Richard Reese. On July 2, 1963, the Reese brothers merged the H.B. Reese Candy Company with the Hershey Chocolate Corporation in a tax-free stock-for-stock merger with the six Reese brothers receiving 666,316 Hershey common shares, valued in 1963 at $23.5 million. In 2013, after 50 years of stock splits, these original shares now represent sixteen million Hershey common shares valued in excess of $1 billion, paying $31 million in annual cash dividends. The H.B. Reese Candy Company is maintained as a subsidiary of Hershey because the Reese plant workforce is not unionized, unlike the main Hershey plant. As of September 20, 2012, Reese's is the best-selling candy brand in the United States with sales of $2.603 billion, and is the fourth-best-selling candy brand globally with sales of $2.679 billion—only $76 million (2.8%) of its sales is from outside the United States market. Additionally, the non-union H.B. Reese Candy Company manufactures the Kit Kat in the United States, which had 2012 U.S. sales of $948 million.

Music City Must - Prohibition Bites
Sam T. Spoonlicker's World Famous Cookie Dough has the perfect motto for life, “When life gives you lemons add sugar, flour and eggs!”
Not only do they serve up delicious cookie dough that’s safe to eat, they have an array of ‘curious confections,’ offering everything from milkshakes, desserts and dozens of cookie dough flavors. The confection that caught my eye for my next Music City Must are the “Prohibition Bites.” These booze-infused bites are so good, they even served them at the Country Music Awards! Any dessert that’s good enough for country music royalty, is good enough for me. Mr. Spoonlicker is always mixing up his flavors for his boozy bites.
I stopped by his location at the Opry Mills Mall and tried Sam’s T’s Spiked Sweet Tea made of Jack Daniels and ginger spiced sweet tea cookie dough. I tried the Tipsy Turtle made of chocolate chip cookie dough and Whisper Creek Tennessee Sipping Cream. My favorite was the Strawbubbly Blitzed flavor that’s made with fresh strawberry and champagne cookie dough. Last, but not least, I sampled the Bootlegger’s Bliss made of Banana Foster cookie dough and Smith Creek Caramel Moonshine. Yum!
Everything is made fresh in Sam’s kitchen. They really bring a classic, old-timey taste to each confection. Ok, so maybe I had a milkshake while I was there, too! No one said I couldn’t sample five desserts in one day. Stop by their store or visit their website:
These Are Hands Down The Best Places To Eat Fried Chicken
Though intrinsically connected with Southern cuisine, you can nowadays find phenomenal fried chicken at restaurants in pretty much any state. From the many exceptional fried chicken eateries around the country, we've plucked out the very best of the best. Good luck deciding which one you're going to try first.
The Philly cheesesteak has long reigned as Philadelphia's top culinary artifact. But thanks to one up-and-coming chain of Philadelphia restaurants, fried chicken is working its way up the list.
Eater Chef of the Year Michael Solomonov, his business partner Steve Cook, and local coffee shop owners Tom Henneman and Bobby Logue have been working to establish Philly as a fried chicken Mecca since opening Federal Donuts in 2011. The restaurant specializes in fried chicken, coffee, and donuts. That's all they serve. Henneman says,
It's three comforts under one roof.
Inspired by Korean fried chicken, the birds at Federal Donuts are twice fried for a, quote, teeth-shattering crispiness. The chicken can be coated in a choice of dry seasoning: za'atar, coconut curry, or buttermilk ranch. Or there's a wet glaze of chili garlic, sweet soy garlic, or honey ginger. Whether glazed, seasoned, or plain, the fried chicken is always served with a moist honey donut.
As a slave's granddaughter growing up in rural poverty, Mildred Council, nicknamed Mama Dip, likely never imagined she'd one day serve her fried chicken to fans including Michael Jordan and President Barack Obama. But she did — thanks to some of the most delicious fried chicken ever.
Mama Dip learned to cook working alongside her mother-in-law in a tiny takeout kitchen that quickly earned a reputation for serving the best homemade country dishes in town.
Since opening her own restaurant in 1976, Mama Dip has become a culinary icon. Before farm-to-table cooking was in vogue, Mama Dip sourced all her ingredients from local farmers. Mama Dip's menu hasn't changed much over the years, focusing on Southern comfort staples such as chitlins, smothered pork chops and fried chicken. Her crispy, southern-style birds are paired with classic sides including collard greens and fried green tomatoes.
Mama Dip passed away in the spring of 2018, but her culinary legacy lives on through her fried chicken, which is still served at Mama Dip's Kitchen by her children and grandchildren.
