OSLO GUIDE - from Jean Heard for Doris Visits
Another of our Baltic cruise guides, this time, Oslo. A beautiful city, even though it was -7 degrees when we were there - with just a flutter of snow.
Take a look at the Baltic Cruise playlist.
This is where you will find great advice on so many cruise destination ports, because we have recently been there, got the bus, done the tour, and filmed it.

Oslo city - Norwegian fishermen selling fish in Oslo Harbor - Oslo attractions
Fisherman stand in their boats selling fresh caught fish and shrimps in Oslo Harbor (Oslo Harbour) close to the fashionable Aker Brygge harbor area. The fish on sale appear to be European Flounder (Latin name: Platichtys flesus) or in Danish Skubbe, a member of the flat fish family, Cod (Latin name:Gadus morhua) or in Danish Torsk and shrimps (fresh and cooked shrimps). I am a little bit in doubt whether the Cod (Torsk) that they are selling are indeed Cod? There mouths appear to be very narrow and pointed for a Cod? Does anyone have an opinion?
Wiki writes about Oslo, Oslo, the capital of Norway, sits on the country’s southern coast at the head of the Oslofjord. It’s known for its green spaces and museums. Many of these are on the Bygdøy Peninsula, including the waterside Norwegian Maritime Museum and the Viking Ship Museum, with Viking ships from the 9th century..

I came from the city and found Oslo Harbor, a resting place for Oslo citizens. Oslo's famous opera house. The opera house was built with a glacier floating on the coast of Oslo Fjord. It is also the first icebreaker in the world designed to walk on the roof. We walked on marble like white snow and decided to go to the highest place. The appearance of the port of Oslo arriving at a glance when it arrives at the rooftop which seems to have spread a carpet. The idea of utilizing the rooftop of public buildings as an observatory for the citizens was amazing. People can use it. As you can see, I can get in the roof and the view is very nice. So the outside is available to the inhabitants here. At the top of the opera house at sunset. It's my favorite place in the day. The weather was cloudy and I could not see the glare, but there was an impression of Oslo's port.

Visiting Norway in Winter - Port of Oslo in Snow and Ice
The Port of Oslo is Norway's leading cargo and ferry port - here in snow and ice with a view towards the skyline.

The anti-Oslo marina. This ship is only one turn back to Oslo inde sort of circular cruise returning to its original place aboard the ship headed into the folk museum. Oslo overlooking the boat to go for a realistic sense that the city was reminded that piled up in the woods. 10 minutes boat ride to the island came and went pretty tiny one. That's where 'bwigeu Day' in Oslo West, Island Towing cables thought the opposite side is called the peninsula linked to the mainland. The Norwegian Folk Museum was created in 1894 that is on display is less than 170 wooden houses built in the traditional style of each province in Norway. I wonder why the pool on the roof? I wonder planted to high-fat cold pool for wonak yiraseo insulation. Cabins inside I felt the ceiling is very low and that this also because of the cold winter. The household was using at the time of the houses and structures were also gotta preserved. It is written to make a birch bark roofs pool. Spread the roof, a 12-ply birch bark pointers topped the pool on top of it. Jieotdaneun star brooch church in the 12th century, is looking at the roof top pieces of Yongmeori to feel that the most important buildings in the Folk Museum traces of the Viking Age could. Currently, only 28 were left in one of them and one of the wooden churches of the 1000's probe church is the right star. Oscar II of Sweden and Norway, who ruled the church moved here said. There were a faded painting on the wall tells the history of the church.
