Exploring Norris Castle (East Cowes, Isle of Wight, United Kingdom)
This is some film of Norris Castle in East Cowes on the Isle of Wight. The castle was built in 1799 by the architect James Wyatt and sits on an estate of 225 acres. It was purchased over a year ago by a property developer looking to turn it into a luxury hotel. The interior contains an old kitchen with a mechanical spit roast system, two ice houses, a stable, cave art and a wine cellar. The castle will require a lot of work to get it into a luxury hotel standard.

Director Arron Swaffar tells the tale of the decay and collapse of this little island off the south coast of England.
In the wake of budget cuts and cheaper air travel to foreign destinations
the island has become a shell of what it once was.
Now it is time to delve into the unknown and explore the urban ruins that once was
the beautiful Isle of Wight.

Ryde Esplanade In Winter - Closed Season - Isle Of Wight - 26th January 2019 | kittikoko
Ryde is an English seaside town and civil parish on the Isle of Wight, with a population of 32,072 at the 2011 Census. It lies on the north-east coast. The town grew in size as a seaside resort after the villages of Upper Ryde and Lower Ryde were merged in the 19th century. The influence of this era is still strongly visible in the town's central and seafront architecture.
As a resort, the town is noted for its expansive sands, which are revealed at low tide, making its pier necessary on the wide beach for a regular passenger ferry service. Ryde Pier is a listed structure, and the fourth longest pier in the United Kingdom, as well as the oldest.

Exploring Derelict Factory SARO East Cowes - ABANDONED ISLE OF WIGHT
Exploring Abandoned Factory Isle of Wight SARO located next to Folly Inn in Whippingham, East Cowes, Isle of Wight.
SARO (Saunders Roe) was a British aero- and marine-engineering company based at Columbine Works founded in 1929, East Cowes, Isle of Wight.
This particular site was a sub division of SARO located approximately half a mile from the central site along the river Medina.
This particular site closed down some when during the early 1990's (I am unsure of the exact date).
Since then this site has been left to slowly rot away, during the early 2000's I remember a large skate park being created here.
The site has since been secured and is scheduled at some point for redevelopment.
Date of Visit May 2016
The site is currently guarded 24hrs which meant that I had to be careful and avoid the guard whilst he was out on patrol, because of this I was unable to access some of the site covered by CCTV and also the buildings next to the security hut.
In the end I was caught by the security guard and shown out.
No damage was caused gaining entry or during the time spent at this site.
Please note (as mentioned above) this area has a guard onsite 24hrs, also CCTV and sometimes a dog. This site is dangerous and I would not advise anyone trying to gain access.

Southern Vectis ADL Enviro 200 HW64 AXD (2713)
Today we ride a ADL Enviro 200, based on the Isle of Wight, on the Red Jet 1, which runs from Newport to Cowes Red Jet Port. As an Island Local said Do you know why they use small buses and big double deckers? The answer was no, I didn't do too much research! The reason is that to get into the Red Jet Port, you need a small bus, and these incredibly small Enviro 200s do the job, despite still having a very tight squeeze. The Enviro 400s, or big double dekers, operate to a place in Cowes, just near the Port, transporting the most passengers. The branded vehicles, which this wasn't at the time, look very smart with their red-green contrast. Be awesome, subscribe to stay upto date with when I upload!

Footage of exploring some old outbuildings that are falling into the sea. There are some remnants of what looks like an old stone building so I assume these are outbuildings to that.
