The Shops at Riverside in Hackensack, NJ Kicking Out Tenants including Mr. Cupcakes
In recent months, Simon Property Group has been renovating the mall and now it is getting ready for the third phase which resulted in Hugo Boss and Victoria's Secret closing for the mall to reclaim the space for the mall which both of these stores already have. They also are reclaiming Pottery Barn Kids first level space for the mall and moving that tenant to the second level of the mall. My Ocha, a Japanese tea and bakery cafe next to Mr. Cupcakes closed Tuesday. John Manganiotis said Mr. Cupcakes would close Saturday March 31st, 2018 the day right before Easter so we can see some work on the third phase beginning right after Easter. Mr Cupcakes and My Ocha will be not relocating in the mall along with Victoria's Secret and Hugo Boss. Also, with the renovations and making the center more upscale could also Mean HIGH SECURITY AND LESS ELEVATOR FILMING AT THE MALL DUE TO HIGHER SECURITY?

I was STOPED by Mall Security Aka ALLIED UNIVERSAL and they asked me to not take pictures they even asked to see my camera which I REFUSED to give to them and that its none of their business. Then they said there were going to call the POLICE on me just for REFUSING to give the camera to them! and I didn't want them doing because I was a minor so I got my dad involved so the supervisor asked my dad he asked my dad if we were going to stay and we said no so we left I'll make a video later on this week about what happened. I'm NOT here to bash SIMON Property Group, Inc However, I believe this situation was uncalled for and unexpectable and ALLIED UNIVERSAL need to get there priorities straight and worry about People Shoplifting or People that actually look like terrorists.
