The Carnival Dream cruise ship had a flood onboard it's 7 day Western Caribbean cruise this week, but swift action by the crew has minimized the flooded area and the clean up is almost done. The cruise line stepped up to assist the passengers in the 50 cabins that were affected by the flood by offering them a full refund for their cruise, a 50% credit against their next cruise and they were offered a free hotel stay and free flights home from Cozumel Mexico. The ship will return to it's home port of New Orleans tomorrow May 6th 2018 and it is expected to leave on time for it's next cruise.

We start in 1958 with the introduction of the Boeing 707 Jet aircraft and the beginning of the end of Ocean Liners. Within 1 year of the launch of the 707, more people crossed the Atlantic Ocean by jet than by stream ship. The Queen Mary the worlds premier Ocean Liner went out of service by 1968 and was sold off by Cunard to a group of investors who turned her into a floating hotel and museum. She sits in Long Beach California today as a hotel and she is a time machine to the long lost era of steam ships. Check out the video to catch up to 1979.

The Cavaliers' victory also marked the first championship win by a dominant professional sports team from Cleveland since 1964, ending a 52–year championship drought dating back to the 1964 NFL title won by the Cleveland Browns.
