Kolmen sepän patsas/ The Three Smiths/Три Кузнеца 360° 8K Helsinki
The statue was commissioned by the Pro Helsingfors foundation, which donated it to the City of Helsinki. Felix Nylund (1878-1940) entered a sculpture with a smith theme in 1913 in the competition for the J.W. Snellman memorial. In 1919, Nylund made a drawing where the three smiths are placed on top of a 10-metre column. Although these early plans were never realized, Nylund reapplied the theme in the `The Three Smiths' which was to be placed in front of the Old Student House.
The `Three smiths' has been interpreted to symbolize, for instance, human labour and cooperation between people. The model for the master smith was Paavo Koskinen, a brick layer. The facial features are from the poet Arvid Mörne. The smith raising the hammer is a self-portrait of the young Nylund, while the third smith was modelled on the stone cutter Aku Nuutinen, an important assistant of Felix Nylund's. The statue is realistic with tones of Classicism. The statue is cast in bronze and its pedestal is red granite. The Latin text MONUMENTUM - PONENDUM - CURAVIT - LEGATUM - J. TALLBERGIANUM - PRO HELSINGFORS A.D. MCMXXXII is inscribed on the pedestal.
The work belongs to the collections of the Helsinki Art Museum.

'Can I Play With Madness' is a song from Iron Maiden's album ''Seventh Son Of A Sevent Son'',released in 1988.
''As the album's first single, 'Can I Play With Madness' is probably the album's most well-known song, describing a young man -- most probably the Seventh Son of a Sevent Son father -- who tries to learn the future from an old prophet with a crystal ball. Maybe he also tries to seek help from the prophet in order to come to terms with his visions and nightmares. He apparently thinks that he's becoming mad, although he does not believe what the prophet says and turns violent like a cornered animal.
This is the only song on the album that is not quite up to the other ones' standards. The mood of the song just seems a bit too happy, which doesn't really fit with the lyrics, and the guitar solos are extremely short and perfunctory. However, the chorus is ok. ''
'Seventh Son of a Seventh Son' is a concept album by heavy metal band Iron Maiden, released in 1988 as the band's seventh studio album on EMI in Europe and its sister label Capitol Records in the US (it was re-released by Sanctuary/Columbia Records in the US in 2002).
Seventh Son of a Seventh Son was the last Iron Maiden album to feature guitarist Adrian Smith until the album Brave New World in 2000 (he did write a song that Bruce Dickinson finished for the next album, No Prayer for the Dying, titled Hooks in You, a loose tie-in to the Charlotte the Harlot saga).

''Dying swans twisted wings, beauty not needed here'. I don't recall there being any dying swans in Brave New World the book. But I wanted an image that represented the tragedy and sadness of what Brave New World had done. Dying swans, twisted wings, you know, the agony, the death. Brave New World doesn't want to see that. It has no use for either the life or the death. All it has use for is the image because in the book, if you want excitement you go to the viddies; it's Aldous Huxley's premonition of virtual reality and I'm taking that and throwing it out there for discussion. Based on the 1932 novel by Aldous Huxley [1894--1963], this is once again a classic-to-be of Iron Maiden.
The story that inspired the lyrics of the song takes place in what was at the time of Huxley's writing a futuristic world state with the motto: Community, Identity, Stability. Every inhabitant of this state consumes daily doses of an anti-depressive drug called soma, babies are conceived and born in specialised laboratories, and the most popular form of entertainment is the feelies, a movie that can not only be watched but also felt with the senses of touch and smell. The main character in the book revolts against this system that controls every single aspect of human life and ends up becoming a sort of circus attraction (the Savage) for the rest of the world. When we take a look at the current state of our planet, it becomes quite obvious that Huxley was disquietingly right and that what he described as Utopia was very close to the world we live in nowadays. Today's Western society with its constant search for entertainment, sometimes to the extreme, and gradual extinction of individuality is the proof that Huxley's imagination in the 1930s was in fact a form of prediction of what was yet to come.
''Brave New World'' is the twelfth studio album by Iron Maiden, released on 30 May 2000 (see 2000 in music). It marked the return of longtime lead singer Bruce Dickinson and guitarist Adrian Smith to the band, who left in 1990, replaced by Janick Gers. It was also the band's first studio recording with three guitar players, as Gers stayed with the band after Smith's return.
The album art and title song are references to the novel of the same name written by Aldous Huxley.
SIMO - Long May You Sail - at the Tavastia - Helsinki, Finland Dec 8, 2016
The third song that night at the legendary Tavastia Club, the tour closing gig. This is an edited version of an earlier, unedited upload of this performance, which was not stabilized and came out too saturated for my taste anyways.
Filmed with the Panasonic Lumix LX100, audio taped with the Zoom H1 attached to the hot shoe of the camera. Unfortunately, the automatic mode I chose to use at the beginning didn't really work too well for exposure and on top of it all, the Zoom H1 dropped off the hotshoe right at the start of the gig, as a result of which I had to keep it in my hand, resulting in some variation in audio quality. A ton of thanks to Jukka Tavi who gave his footage for me to fill out the unuseable few seconds with his. In those parts you can actually see me in front of the stae fiddling with the exposure of the camera, the SLR I was taking pictures with and the Zoom H1.
Colors and contrast modified, crop and panned here and there, and stabilized.
