Sporting Event-Boardman Ohio-Diversity Summit-GROW Program-Women Business Enterprises
The first Saturday in May is a special time of the year because it allows friends, both old and new, to foster and rekindle relationships with people who call Louisville home and with others from different parts of the world. Summit activities will be held at the Galt House Hotel in Downtown Louisville, Kentucky. The Galt House is the official sponsor Kentucky Derby. In the early 1800s, the original Galt House was a residence owned by Dr. W.C. Galt. In 1835, a 60-room hotel was opened as the Galt House Hotel across the street from the residence at the northeast corner of First and Main. Current sponsors include but aren’t limited to: Delta Airlines, Procter and Gamble, PurePath Capital, Bingham, Greenebaum, Doll LLP, Consensio Group, NAC, Argent Tape & Label, ABS a Diversant Company, NAWBO Kentucky and many others.

The Derby Diversity & Business Summit aims to pull together a special professional group with the intention of generating opportunities for diverse businesses in communities across the US. The mission of the Derby Diversity Business Summit (DDBS) is to support organizations who work to advance Diverse Owned Businesses. To accomplish our mission, we identify projects in which we can provide funding that supports education, business development and training initiatives for organizations committed to the advancement of Diverse Owned Businesses. Each year the DDBS committee chooses an organization that meets specific criteria and aligns with our objectives of strengthening the capacity and scale of Diverse Owned Businesses. The most common occupations in the Advertising, public relations & related services Industry Group, by number of employees, are Advertising sales agents; Miscellaneous managers; and Designers. Compared to other Industry Groups, Advertising, public relations & related services employs an unusually high number of Advertising & promotions managers; Advertising sales agents; and Models, demonstrators, & product promoters. The highest paid occupations in Advertising, public relations & related services, by average wage, are Chief executives & legislators; Purchasing managers; and Miscellaneous assemblers & fabricators. The Derby Diversity & Business Summit is an event that will be held in Louisville, KY. Louisville is the largest city in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the United States. Louisville is one of two cities in Kentucky designated as first-class. Louisville is known as the home of the Kentucky Derby, Kentucky Fried Chicken, the University of Louisville and its Louisville Cardinals athletic teams, Louisville Slugger baseball bats, and three of Kentucky's six Fortune 500 companies.
