Watch a Robot Milk a Cow - The Waldo Way Farm - AROUND EAST TEXAS
The Waldo Way Farm in Mineola Texas is the first robotic dairy in the State. Waldo Way produces organic, A2 raw milk from Guernsey cattle. The milking robot, named Rosie, was modified from assembly robots used in the automotive industry, and the farm's cows freely walk in up to three times daily to be milked.
Waldo Way produces A2 raw milk, yogurts, butter, cheeses and other raw and organic foods including aquaponic greens.

Free Range, Family Dairy Farm
Footage taken Summer of 2018. The farm is called 'La Ferme des 3 Capucines' Tignes, France.
The video captures the reality of the dairy industry on a small family, free range farm. These cruel practices exist equally on free range farms, as they do on factory or large scale farms. Please don't believe the humane myth that these free range farms are different. This is standard industry practice and free range family farms are no exception. Calves are routinely stolen from their mothers at birth to prevent them from taking the milk, they are confined to cages for weeks at a time to keep them 'tender' and then slaughtered for veal. Please don't support this cruel industry.
(Appologies for the video being in portrait.)

Exploring the Mineola Nature Preserve in East Texas
I spent some time exploring the Mineola Nature Preserve today checking out their trail system for future hikes. It is a nice place from what I have seen so far. It is approximately 3000 acres that extends through parts of the Sabine River Bottom Basin. I am told there is currently 27 miles of marked trails open to hiking and equestrian. There is no charge for entry into the park for hiking. It is open daily from 7am until sunset. A person who sits on the board of directors told me they are in the process of mapping the trails to GPS and will soon have a detailed map of the property. Though the trails are marked I would not recommend going alone or unprepared. It could be easy to get lost. Overall I enjoyed my visit there today and hope to go back with a group soon.
DANGER: Raw Milk
Should raw milk be illegal? Should herdshares be illegal? Should the government determine what you can and can't eat?
Senator Richard Briggs in Knoxville, TN believes raw milk is so dangerous that Tennessee should outlaw it entirely. If you live in Tennessee, contact your State Senator AND your State Representative, and tell them to vote NO on SB0015. Click the link below to find your local legislators.
