A Russian Youth / Trailer / English subtitles
A simple country boy, Alyosha, volunteers for the front of the First world war. After a gas attack in the first battle, he loses his sight, but does not return home. The guy is nailed to the anti-aircraft battery and becomes a hearer - a watchman who must warn others about the approach of enemy aircraft. In parallel, a storyline is being developed about the rehearsals of the Tavrichesky orchestra in modern Saint Petersburg, which is preparing to perform Concerto No. 3 and Sergei Rachmaninoff's Symphonic dances

The free festival will include live Russian folk music, khorovody (circle dancing), skomorokhi (Russian minstrels), a tug-of-war and performances by the Russian Orthodox Cathedral choir and the Russian Orchestra of London.
The Mayor said: This will be a celebration of everything great about Russia, from the quintessentially Russian blini to classical Russian opera, jazz and traditional folk dance.
Russian Londoners are a thriving community who have made a significant contribution to the capital both economically and culturally. I encourage everyone to come and enjoy this fantastic festival offering.
The festival will include the modern folk group Russian Song of the 21st Century from Nadezhda Babkinas theatre; dance ensembles Chibatuha; folk-pop star Varvara; and singers Evgeniy Gor and Ed Shulzhevsky. Vladimir Putin Blockade Leningrad Moscow State University
Блокада Ленинграда
Vladimir Putin visited the historical building of Moscow State University at Mokhovaya Street ahead of Russian Students Day.
During his visit to the MSU Museum of Anthropology, the President was shown the veil from the reliquary of St Zosima of Solovki (died on April 17, 1478), a co-founder of the Solovetsky Monastery. The image embroidered in gold thread on gold cloth was found in the museum’s collection in 2017 and subsequently restored at the Grabar Art Conservation Centre. According to the centre’s experts, the veil was manufactured at the turn of the 19th century. A similar veil of St Zosima made in 1661 is kept in the collection of the State Russian Museum in St Petersburg.
Vladimir Putin also met with MSU students, who showed him their designs for a digital culture and education centre for students and for the National Student Theatre Festival. They also told the President about the LANAT School Research Laboratory, which aims to encourage talented children to get involved in research projects.

Tyumen
Tyumen is the largest city and the administrative center of Tyumen Oblast, Russia, located on the Tura River 2,500 kilometers east of Moscow.
Tyumen was the first Russian settlement in Siberia. Founded in 1586 to support Russia's eastward expansion, the city has remained one of the most important industrial and economic centers east of the Ural Mountains. Located at the junction of several important trade routes and with easy access to navigable waterways, Tyumen rapidly developed from a small military settlement to a large commercial and industrial city. The central part of Old Tyumen retains many historic buildings from throughout the city's history.

White movement
Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

SUMMARY
=======
The White movement (Russian: Бѣлое движеніе/Белое движение, tr. Beloye dvizheniye, IPA: [ˈbʲɛləɪ dvʲɪˈʐenʲɪɪ]) and its military arm the White Army (Бѣлая Армія/Белая Армия, Belaya Armiya), also known as the White Guard (Бѣлая Гвардія/Белая Гвардия, Belaya Gvardiya), the White Guardsmen (Бѣлогвардейцы/Белогвардейцы, Belogvardeytsi) or simply the Whites (Бѣлые/Белые, Beliye), was a loose confederation of Anti-Communist forces that fought the communist Bolsheviks, also known as the Reds, in the Russian Civil War (1917–1922/3) and, to a lesser extent, continued operating as militarized associations insurrectionists both outside and within Russian borders in Siberia until roughly the Second World War (1939-1945).
During the Russian Civil War, the White movement was a big tent political movement, representing an array of political opinions in Russia united in their opposition to the communist Bolsheviks, from the republican-minded bourgeois liberals and Kerenskyite social democrats who had profited from the February Revolution of 1917 on the left, to the champions of Tsarism and the Russian Orthodox Church of Eastern Orthodox Christianity on the right.
Following their defeat, there were remnants and continuations of the movement in several organizations, some of which only had narrow support, enduring within the wider White émigré overseas community until after the fall of Communism in the Eastern European Revolutions of 1989 and the subsequent Dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1990-1991. This community-in-exile of anti-communists was often divided between the liberals and the more conservative segments, with some still hoping for the restoration of the Romanov dynasty including several claimants to the empty throne like Nicholas Romanov, Prince of Russia (1924-2014) living in Italy and Prince Andrew Romanov (b. 1923) in the United States and other exiles still hoping for a true constitutional democratic republic in Russia.
