Russian Indy Wrestler from Nizhny Novgorod ???? | motivational story
In this episode, Tim Kirby tells the motivational story of Dmitry Greenberg, an ironworker from Nizhny Novgorod. He wound up doing professional wrestling, where a spectacular show combines technique and entertainment of the public.
Our character does it despite the fact that this kind of entertainment isn’t popular in Russia and not very profitable. Together with his teammates, he organizes indy wrestling tournaments in his hometown and performs across Russia to make his passion more popular. Not only does Dmitry compete, but he’s also a coach, manager, and promoter with the Nizhny Novgorod Wrestling Club. His colleagues’ feedback indicated that he does it effectively.
It all started with an accidentally planned role-playing show in a forest. On that day his friends decided to dedicate themselves to this sport and to begin growing pro-wrestling in their home town from scratch. That was Russian wrestler’s origin. And although their training room looks unattractive and these tournaments do not attract thousands of spectators, these people deserve respect because they strongly believe in their own business, don't crack under pressure and find ways to realize their vision. It’s a prime example of self-confidence.
You just have to believe in yourself.

Maxim Gorky - The Little Boy, A Story
Alexei Maximovich Peshkov (28 March 1868 – 18 June 1936), primarily known as Maxim (Maksim) Gorky was a Russian and Soviet writer, a founder of the Socialist Realism literary method and a political activist. Gorky was born in Nizhny Novgorod and became an orphan at the age of nine. In 1880, at the age of twelve, he ran away from home in an effort to find his grandmother. Gorky was brought up by his grandmother. Her death deeply affected him, and after an attempt at suicide in December 1887, he travelled on foot across the Russian Empire for five years, changing jobs and accumulating impressions used later in his writing.
As a journalist working for provincial newspapers, he wrote under the pseudonym (Jehudiel Khlamida). The name is suggestive of cloak-and-dagger by the similarity to the Greek chlamys, cloak). He began using the pseudonym Gorky (literally bitter) in 1892, while working in Tiflis for the newspaper (The Caucasus). The name reflected his simmering anger about life in Russia and a determination to speak the bitter truth. Gorky's first book (Essays and Stories) in 1898 enjoyed a sensational success and his career as a writer began. Gorky wrote incessantly, viewing literature less as an aesthetic practice (though he worked hard on style and form) than as a moral and political act that could change the world. He described the lives of people in the lowest strata and on the margins of society, revealing their hardships, humiliations, and brutalization, but also their inward spark of humanity.

The Korean football team's 12th player has shown up at Nizhny Novgorod Stadium in Russia, where the squad's first match will take place against Sweden. Korean fans are determined to win the cheering game as they expect this to be a difficult match.
[Soundbite] Lee Yu-sang : I came here because I believe Korea can advance to the round of 16. I think the players will play hard if we cheer them on hard.
Korean striker Hwang Hee-chan's mother also showed up to join the fans, but could not hide her nervousness despite the festive mood.
[Soundbite] Song Young-mi(Hwang Hee-chan's Mother) : I told Hee-chan to take care of himself and play hard for the sake of the fans.
The Swedes are not backing down in their support of their national team. They colored the streets around the stadium in yellow, the color representing Sweden.
[Soundbite] Par Carlson(Swedish Fan)
Roughly 20,000 fans are expected to come to the stadium from Sweden since it is not that far from Russia. However, the Korean cheering squad has only about 1,500 people. They may be few, but they plan to cheer a hundred times harder for the Korean team.

Vladimir Putin: What's most important and I'd like you to pay attention to, my colleagues from the government and I should think about it for sure, we should ensure the market for our programmers, especially in sensitive areas, such as public administration, some sensitive industries, such as the energy industry, management systems, the financial sector, our large companies so that we could guarantee sovereignty and ensure security. And here, at the level of the government, we need to take such decisions, it may be not really a market measure, somebody has already asked here if we have a market economy and where we're moving, in this sector, direct state support to ensure the market of such services is necessary for sure.
Team Korea Fans / KBS뉴스(News)
[Anchor Lead]
Fanatic football fans took to the streets nationwide on Monday to cheer on Team Korea’s first World Cup match in Russia. Though the Korean national team fell to the Swedes one-nil, Korean supporters were out in droves.
[Pkg]
As the sun sets scores of ardent soccer fans donning red clothes fill up Yeongdong-daero Boulevard in downtown Seoul. They clap their hands and chant slogans at the top of their voices. The fans cheer their heart out using drums and balloons. Every now and then you can hear loud shouts. Twenty minutes into the second half, Team Korea lost momentum, letting Sweden score a penalty kick. Both the spectators and the commentators are frustrated as the game makes little headway. Team Korea eventually lost 0-to-1, but the players did their best.
[Soundbite] Sin Soo-min(Gyeonggi-do Prov. Resident) : I find the referee's decision a little disappointing. But our players did well.
[Soundbite] Yun Soo-bin(Seoul Resident) : I will cheer to the very end. I hope the players will do their best.
Meanwhile, Swedish cheerers are jubilant. They include athletes from Sweden's national handball team, who are visiting Korea for a global tournament.
[Soundbite] Swedish Nat’l Handball Team
They are ecstatic to see Team Sweden score the first and only goal of the match. The festive mood can be felt all over the city. Korean soccer fans were disappointed at the outcome, but only for a while. As the game comes to an end, they make sure to pick up trash and hope for better results in the next World Cup match against Mexico scheduled for this weekend. Regardless of the outcome, it was a celebration of the largest sports gala for everyone.
