Three Sisters Vineyards - Dahlonega GA
$threesistersvineyards #georgiavineyards #georgiawines We have created the series after all of the fun we had last year touring the North Georgia Wine Region. Joan and I are not wine connoisseurs and our formula for wine is very simple - if we like it, we'll drink it. And one thing is for sure, we love the wines in North Georgia and especially Three Sisters Vineyards.
Part of what make Georgia wine so interesting is the farm environment. All the tasting rooms we've visited are in the vineyards. Many were working farms of one sort or another prior to becoming a vineyard. This casual, homey atmosphere welcomes you to the vineyard and then there's the tasting.
Three Sisters is the oldest commercial vineyard and winery in North Georgia. The wines are 100% made from grapes grown at this vineyard. Each sampled (and bought!) we very good. I (Jerry) like earthy, woody reds and Joan likes anything sweet. Three Sisters makes enough varieties to make both of us happy. The wine bar car be very social if you want it to be. Easy to strike up a conversation about the wines and travel. We even met a couple who are RV full timers and iLoveRVlife viewers.
As with many of the vineyards, Three Sisters is a popular wedding destination. I'll leave the explanation to the video. Just trust me on this one - Stunning!
Hope you get a chance to come to North Georgia and experience these wonderful vineyards and Three Sisters should be at the top of your list.

North Georgia Wineries with my Bitches Vlog || Bovoyage Bitches
To all my alcoholics like me,
CAN I GET A HELL YEAH? ha, jk I'm not an alcoholic, I just really love drinking with my frands.
Anyways, I wanted to take you on a little drunken journey through the rolling hills of North Georgia as we sipped our way through 4 different wineries. This is pretty much become a regular thing to visit because there are so many!! This time around we visited some of our favorites and tried a few new ones!
1. Serenity Cellars: A cute, quaint winery that's has the best little patio for sippin wine.
2. Yonah Mountain Vineyard: One of our fav! This huge vineyard is home to some amazing wine, a wedding venue and will even take you on a comprehensive wine tour!
3. The Cottages: Another small town fav. Although not huge, the sweet muscadine wines and view is sure to keep you here for hours.
4. Monteluce: The Tuscan inspired vineyard that just oozes luxury. PLUS a big menu if you want to enjoy a romantic evening on their patio.
I've wrote about most of these before, so read up on them and sip (or stumble) your way through the North Georgia Wineries
If you enjoyed this video, thumbs that shit up.

Yohnah Vineyards and Winery
#yonahvineyards #georgiavineyards #georgiawine On this cloudy October, Joan, I, and our son Joel continued our North Georgia winery tour. We traveled to Yohnah Vineyards and Winery just a few miles north east of Cleveland, GA.
Yohnah Vineyard and WineryYohnah means bear in the Cherokee language and the vineyard not only carries the name, but uses the bear as their logo. Arriving at the entrance of Yohnah Vineyards and Winery, you are immediately swept up in the expansive size of this beautiful property. The drive winds through the vineyard and you are greeted at the end by the stunning wine tasting room, surrounded by the vineyards along with the mountains in the near distance. You can’t help yourself at arrival to just stand in the parking lot and absorb the beauty of the Yohnah Vineyards. Having been fortunate to travel to the California vineyards in Napa and Sonoma wineries, Yohnah vineyards offers similar old world charm, a mature visual experience, but with the added beauty of North Georgia mountains.
Walking into the wine tasting room continues the visual experience with an amazing round, post and beam structure. And again, you can’t help but stop and stare at this beautiful piece of architecture.
But the experience doesn’t end with the views. We treated ourselves to a tasting of 8 of Yohnah Vineyards’ wines. These French themed red and white wines were a treat and Joel and Amanda both stocked up for the trip back home. My favorite, Yohnah’s flagship wine, Genesis 8.
What a wonderful visit. The vineyard, mountains, beautiful architecture and sampling these delicious wines with family.

Description
Frogtown Cellars - Dahlonega GA
#frogtowncellars #georgiavineyards #georgiawine There are a number of vineyards throughout Georgia. Several have been a staple for the area and Frogtown Cellars is one of these. Entering this well established winemaker, you are struck by the beauty of both the vast vineyards as well as its amazing tasting room and restaurant. You can't help but notice the mature vineyards as they stretch throughout the rolling hills with the mountain peaks in the distance. You just walk outside in one of those wow moments. Then you step inside the tasting room and just stop. The two-story post and beam structure is just something to behold.
But, we came to taste wine. And Frogtown Cellars has great wine. I'll admit, I was a bit of wine snob for a while, thinking the only wine one should drink should be made from a single grape variety. I was wrong. First visiting Serenity Vineyards another North Georgia wine maker who makes great Italian bends, I realized there's another whole world to wine. Frogtown too is a winemaker who has taken the blending of wines to an art from. My favorite from the day was their 404 5th Reload, a delicious red blend.
One last point about wine tasting and specifically Frogtown Cellars. It should be fun. You want to feel welcome. And equally important, you want to be served by someone who has knowledge about their wines. Frogtown hit all three. Todd made our tasting such an enjoyable experience and shared an abundance about the wine and vineyard.
So treat both your eyes and your taste buds to Frogtown Cellars. Another great North Georgia Vineyard you'll want to add to your travel destinations.

Georgia Wineries Partner with UGA Extension
The inaugural UGA Cooperative Extension viticulturist, Cain Hickey partners with vineyards across the state to run trials in their already established vineyards, testing new pruning, canopy management and trellising techniques, among other things, to see their effect on not just the yield but also the grapes’ composition and wine quality potential.
Jailhouse Brewery Tour
Our first stop was Jailhouse Brewery in Hampton, GA about an hour south from Lawrenceville. Jailhouse has been brewing their beer in a refurbished 1920's jail house since the fall of 2009. On tap for the afternoon were: Slammer Wheat, Mugshot IPA, Misdemeanor Ale, and my personal favorite of the day: 4D v.12 - Molly Ringwald (a Red IPA).
