The Delta, is the type of fluvial opening, which means the opening of a river, that in this case is the Paraná River . This flow drags a great sediment deposition which forms this space, and for that reason its growth is constant, known as a labyrinth made up of lots of islands, streams, brooks, rivers and channels.
The Delta of Parana is the fifth greatest one of the world, that begins in the Diamante Port in the province of Entre Rios (in its neighborhoods is the National Park Pre-Delta) and continues towards the Southeast up until Rio de la Plata, reason why is the only one that ends its course in sweet water. Particularitities not less important for it to be a tourist center. Its great extension divides it in sections, the locality of Tigre is the first and most developed touristic section(the second section belongs to the delta of San Fernando declared Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO). It is thus, that the Tigre 's River Station, located on the river of the same name, at north of the province of Buenos Aires , is the most important communication center. The accesses are innumerable.
Catamarans and boats of stroll set sail with several excursions to the islands located in front of Tigre 's coasts. Excursions in canoes and kayaks with guides. It is the scene of sports water related, like oar, yachting, water skiing, regatas, surf, wakeboard, fishing, not in vain Tigre is the Cradle of the Oar.
In the islands the development of the forest is maximum, along with birds species, seen in the footpaths of trekking for the ecoturism practice. This it is the closest place, for tourism practice ventures, to the city of Buenos Aires .

Tigre 's River Station::. (305 Mitre st) Located on the Tigre river, close to its opening in the Lujan river.
Port of Fruits ::. In the market you can buy crafts and fruits of the islands
Museum House of Domingo F. Sarmiento- National Historical Monument::. (on the Sarmiento river and the Reyes Stream) It works in a small construction of wood raised in 1853 by Sarmiento. The house is protected externally with glass walls.
Victorica Stroll::. ( Lavalle street ) It begins in the confluence of the Lujan and the Tigre river, where stands the monument of the Rower. It finishes in the Ex-Tigre's Club. In its route we can find clubs and restaurants, coffees, museums.

Una de las zonas mas tradicionales de Buenos Aires con una íntima conexión con el río.
Sus orígenes y consolidación en la memoria colectiva de Buenos Aires es muy particular. Convive lo Decó, el Art Noveau, lo Ecléctico y lo Vernáculo.
Al tratarse de una zona históricamente de expansión y de recreación generó un paisaje urbano con obras que aún no estaban catalogadas. La arquitectura barrial tiene códigos difíciles de rotular; las fachadas son sellos de cada autor, muchos más artesanos que arquitectos.
Caminar por ese tejido urbano delimitado por el río Reconquista, el río Lujan y el río Tigre es descubrir el espíritu del lugar.
El paseo Victorica es un buen comienzo para una agradable caminata en dirección al Tigre Club realizado hacia 1909 por el Arquitecto Pablo Pater (hoy Museo de Arte). Los sabores del paisaje se hacen sentir.
Distintos recreos y clubes de remo conjugan lo Pintoresquista, lo Modernista y cierta Arquitectura de corte industrial, pasando por el Museo naval y el club Regatas de la marina.
La calle Liniers denota su sincretismo arquitectónico inclusive con iglesias de corte colonial. El boulevard San Martín muestra un corredor urbano muy pocas veces visto.
Tigre genera actividades que se aprecian en las costumbres del lugareño. Remo, aerobismo, caminatas, paseos en lancha, vivencias del delta. La casa de Sarmiento es un clásico para visitar. El ex presidente era un habitué del lugar.
El puerto de frutos, los astilleros, ubican a Tigre como algo tan especial que maravilló al mismo Le Corbusier, quien ideó un proyecto de recreos en la zona.
Hacia 1880-1900 se transformó en la zona de recreación por excelencia. Los invito, cámara en mano, a recorrer Tigre y vivir, saber sentir esos olores que enmarcan a su paisaje arquitectónico

The Pioneers went to El Tigre, the rowing capital of Argentina, and saw the sites via a boat ride. The group spent a little more time exploring and shopping before heading off to game four - a win over the Argentina U18 National Team.

Una salida en bicicleta, donde el plato principal fue nuestro paseo en kayak. Día soleado, temperatura ideal para mojarse, y la presencia de mucha gente con ganas de pasarla bién. Bromas, competencias y risas en un domingo donde el pronóstico del clima advertía lo contrario. Todo salió bién y lo disfrutamos así.
