Tiki No is a classic tiki bar, with really nothing but cocktails and chips. A great gathering place or for a special event. The staff is very friendly and they keep the place looking clean. When I went, it was empty, but I imagine it is pretty popular because of the atmosphere. Great indoor and outdoor tables, with views of the street. Happy hour every day from 5-7 with mostly everything $7.

Oldest Dive in LA - Frolic Room, Los Angeles, CA
There isn't a lot of original in Hollywood. Sure they celebrate the throwback, with films like L.A. Confidential and others, which actually show a directors version of what actually happened there years before, but real, authentic Hollywood? Nah. It really doesn't exist anymore.
Well, that's what we thought anyway rolling into town. Turns out though, that on Hollywood Boulivard there's more real about five blocks East of Highland that all of the stuff they try to force down your throat at the Kodak Theatre.
I'm talking about the Frolic Room, a throwback to at least 1930 when the connected Theater, the Panteges, was built. The bar, officially made a bar in 1934 (as far as we know) started life as a hospitality lounge for the theater next door, and therefore seen its share of Hollywood stars, sleeze, crime and tragedy. Enough to make it a Hollywood Landmark like its next-door neighbor..but because it's a bar and not a location for casting-couch calls that hasn't happened yet.
Its also the last bar on all of Hollywood Boulevard; the rest have been turned into dance clubs and Gaps.
So if you're in the area and you want a beer, a shot and some authentic Hollywood throwback, go by the Frolic Room.

What to Expect?
Before you come to the the Walker Inn just expect to have a great time be surprised,be open to try new things and be open to new experiences
What do you love about bartending?
I love meeting people at work, and I love talking to people, and I love booze most of all, I love making drinks.
What’s on the menu?
So we offer two menus here at the Walker Inn.
We have a book of classic cocktails and we also offer an Omakse Style tasting at the bar.
We start off with a Rise on Dawn cocktail that comes with a little snack of Nori, Cucumber and Pear.
Followed by that, my favorite, a Clarified Bloody Mary with a little crostini with tomato Jam and pickled Tomatoes.
Where do you get your inspiration?
We get inspired from all over the place.
We can be inspired by a chef, we can be inspired by a season, we can be inspired by an ingredient it really comes from everywhere and anything.
Whats your go to bottle?
Smith and Cross Jamaican Rum is very high proof. It is very delicious, and it tastes like banana cream pie.
Go to garnish?
Love a lemon twist. I think any stirred clear cocktail really brightens things up really keeps things on the lighter side.
Next big thing in cocktails?
I would say sherry I know it's nothing new it's been around for centuries, but it's got a lot of complexity has a lot of opportunities for amazing cocktails and all-around delicious.
Is the right ice important?
Right ice can make or break a cocktail if you have shitty ice you're going to have a shitty drink.
