Walks in England: Exploring Tilgate Park in Crawley
Today I am in Crawley, West Sussex, exploring the beautiful
Tilgate Park with Liz Berry and her LizBWellness group of walkers. Originally part of the Worth Forest, the park and the surrounding areas were part of the larger Tilgate estate, first recorded in 1647. Prior to that Ironworks and furnaces operated here, but they were dismantled and replaced by a landed working estate. Now the park is owned by the council and open to the public to enjoy.

Tilgate Park is a large recreational park situated in Crawley. The park's outdoor expanse of lakes, lawns and gardens is also home to miles of woodland and bridleways. Filmed November 2018.

Tilgate Park is a large recreational park situated south of Tilgate, South-East Crawley. It is the largest and most popular park in the area. I felt very happy. Smith & Western Western American theme restaurant is also located inside. It is the perfect lake park for families and children ????????????
