Surf Wczasy na wybrzeżu Costa da Caparica, zaledwie 25 minut od tętniącej życiem Lizbony to sielankowy czas spędzony na łapaniu fal, plażowaniu i grillowaniu (w skrócie ;)). Nasz dzielny busik zabrał nas na kilka pięknych wycieczek, piaszczyste plaże zaserwowały niezliczone fale i godziny nauki oraz progresu surfingu, nasza baza zapewniła nam godny wypoczynek, a nasza ekipa super ludzi dopięła to wszystko tworząc niepowtarzalny klimat tego wypadu. Join a beach day in Costa da Caparica - just south of Lisbon.Beach time and is was only spring. The weather was perfect this Friday.
It was a wonderful experience exploring costa da caparica beach of Portugal.The Costa da Caparica coastline is simply stunning, and is famed for its vast sandy beach, powerful surfing seas and wonderful natural scenery, all of which is less than a 20-minute drive from central Lisbon. Spending quality time in beach is good for your mental health.

EVENT WINDOW: April 1-4, 2015 LOCATION: Costa da Caparica, Almada / Portugal TIME DIFFERENCE: GMT +1 COORDINATES: 38º38'30.10 N, 9º14'19.44 W BAGGAGE CLAIM: Lisbon International Airport, Lisbon (LIS)
THE LOCATION: It's the closest beach to a European Capital and the closest one to the center of Lisbon, just 15mn away. Costa da Caparica is simultaneously: -Urban: near Lisbon and Almada -Beachy: the biggest beach town in the Lisbon area -Environmentally protected: home to the forest of fears and the cliffs -Naturally beautiful: located at the southern area and cliffs
THE HISTORY: Caparica counts two very active surf clubs and seven surfboard factories. About 20 schools carry out regular activities in town and a dozen others visit regularly. More than 12 surf shops serve the area and distribute equipment to local and visiting surfers. It's part of the history of national surfing with dozens of national and international champions who grew up surfing there. A pioneer in national sporting associations with the Caparica Surfing Club, founded in 1982, the second in Portugal.
THE WAVE: Waves break on the Costa da Caparica nearly 365 days a year with great consistency. All levels of surfers will find suitable conditions, ideal for schools, training and competitions. A 30km stretch of beach will disseminate the crowds and offer everyone a chance to surf in peace at over 100 peaks.

RipCurl GromSearch 2019 Costa Caparica/Portugal
Está tudo a postos para 2ª etapa do Rip Curl Grom Search que se realiza no próximo fim-de-semana na Praia do Marcelino, Costa de Caparica.
A nova geração do surf nacional vai estar em peso nesta prova para tentar garantir já uma presença na grande final internacional que decorre no próximo ano em local a anunciar. Isto porque este mini-circuito tem três etapas e os vencedores da etapa do Porto, caso vençam na Caparica, poderão já alcançar o objectivo por antecipação, antes da finalíssima em Peniche.
Por aqui se percebe que a emoção vai estar ao rubro na Praia do Marcelino que está com bons fundos de areia deixando antever ondas com qualidade para o campeonato. Apesar de estarmos ainda a cerca de uma semana de distância, as primeiras previsões apontam para boas ondas no horizonte.
A competição organizada pela ASCC (Associação de Surf da Costa de Caparica) vai decorrer nas categorias Sub-12, Sub-14 e Sub-16 (Masculino e Feminino). Os vencedores de sub-16 masculinos e femininos de cada país serão apurados diretamente para a grande final mundial. Os atletas que se classificarem entre o segundo e o quinto lugar (inclusive) terão acesso a um wild card para a final europeia, que terá lugar no próximo mês de Outubro em Peniche. Os vencedores nas categorias sub-14 (rapazes e raparigas) recebem um prémio “MEO Surf Trip to Paradise”, uma viagem a um destino de surf.
As inscrições estão abertas e devem ser efectuadas através do site da Federação Portuguesa de Surf.
De referir que Afonso Antunes fez história este fim-de-semana ao sagrar-se campeão do evento internacional na Costa Rica, inscrevendo o seu nome ao lado de surfistas como Gabriel Medina, Stephanie Gilmore, Tyler Wright, Owen Wright, Matt Wilkinson, Jordy Smith, Kolohe Andino e Sally Fitzgibbons, entre outros.

Vanlife Vlog: Back Surfing in Costa da Caparica
In this episode, we leave Spain behind to enter for the second time a journey to Portugal.
It's always nice to go back to some places, because we feel like we're at home. Costa da Caparica is a special place because of our Portuguese family.
Filipe and his wife were amazing back in 2015. Armando got an amazing surfboard shaped by him that he used immediately when we arrived.
He got some footage from his GoPro camera. Unfortunately, it's also the last footage - some water managed to get inside and broke it!
